Castle is armed to the teeth, and hunting for them.

There were like 50 ninjas, at least.

He can't get them all before they close the distance and kill him.

He can't dodge or block shurikens and arrows like DD.

Yea, he probably just won't sense them sneaking up behind him at all.

Yeah, have to admit that is one area where Matt's senses give him a massive edge over most others, at least under normal circumstances. He isn't dependent on line of sight to "see" who's around him.
