Hercules vs Ares

Hercules from the 2014 movie fights Ares from Wrath of Titans. Both have their maces, and Hercules has his lion skin. Who wins?

The Rock version is human. Very strong human, but human nonetheless. Ares should destroy him without a fuss.

That said, I don't recall much of Ares' feats.

Need to know which Herc though. Either way, neither 2014 version beats him. Tou need Sorbo or Marvel Herc to get the win.

Rock Hercules was definitely not just a really strong human. He was superman especially after the statue feat at the end. I don't know if it is enough to topple Ares though.

I say Hercules has better lifting feats but Ares has better striking feats. The latter is more important when hitting someone while the former comes to handy in grappling.

So just so I understand clearly, you think Ares is a good melee fight for Loki, but you also think Herc is a good fight for Ares? So do you then think Rock Herc and Loki are around the same level? I am genuinely curious, because I personally think that Rock Herc would be little more than a blip on Loki's radar in a straight fight. Just look how casually he manhandled Cap.

I just wanted to assess what level people thought Ares was. Also, in between Cap, Ares, Loki and Hercules, Herc had the biggest strength feat of all with that statue. And he literally squashed that executioner in that wolf fight video

Fair enough. Like I said, I was just curious. I personally feel in a straight fight it would probably be Loki, Ares, Cap (though Cap and Ares kinda depends on which weapons they get IMO) then Herc, but I am open to changing my list if someone else can provide a good argument. Herc has the best strength feats, but in terms of combat feats he comes up short, considering he fought fodder for the most part. Cap, Ares and Loki all have solid combat feats against other strong opponents.
