Fraught and frantic because Revan loved her and didn't want to kill her, probably. But if we want to say that Bastila approaches Revan-level I'm down for that maybe.
It could go legitimately either way if it's decrepit old feeble Bane in DOE, Bane with his special armor probably wins not because he's skilled but because of the protection/amplification of the orbalisks.

RoT Bane is his prime in most areas. He became a better duelist by DoE, but had less raw-power compared to RoT. He did, however, seem to have more knowledge of other techniques by DoE. I'd argue RoT is his strongest incarnation (mainly from the Orbalisks advantage), but DoE was his prime in terms of his knowledge and command without external (Orbalisks) amplification. He wins round 1, but I'd give bonus to team. Bastila is out of her depth, but she could use her BM to tip the scale in Malak's favor. Bane would benefit from the SF's DS presence, but not as much as Malak, seeing as he's its master now, and has command of the station. I'd imagine he'd get a stronger bonus from it directly influencing his power as its massager, but that's me.
Since we've had the usual responses I though I might take this one seriously. Will Malak's experience with the Star Forge allow him to be amped to a superior degree to Bane?
I think it might. He seemed to have more experience drawing on its power and apparently it had a dark will that affected those who drew upon its power. Perhaps Bane would we wary of drawing on such a source of unknown power. As we know Malak has no such inhibitions.
Eh. While I agree Bane is his superior Malak does have his SF amp plus Bastilla to BM him. If it's possible Bane wouldn't recieve as a great of an amp they might be on an even playing field.

Not if Malak shields her as Farf did for Raskta. I do agree though that having to protect Bastilla during the fight will hinder Malak somewhat though likely not as much as the BM amp will aid him. Hmmmm.
This isn't a bad fight tbh but I think the distraction of Bastilla and the uncertainty of the SF amping Malak more then Bane pushes it into Bane's favor.
