An amped Jerec lost to a very early and amateurish Katarn.
Although I think Katarn used Sever Force or something.
But didn't Kyle beat him in a saber duel?

Nah, they didn't fight. Katarn unleashed this Sever Force / Wall of Light on him.
Jerec would have dominated him if they fought. A source even labeled him as "omniscient."
Even before the amp, his power is compared to Vader's. It's clearly not on that level, but it's nice hype nonetheless.
