So this is a thread where people can discuss some of the best opening/introductory scenes for television/movie characters. Basically, which characters had a particularly notable impact, or had a lasting impression/you can still remember well, the first time they appeared onscreen?
One of my own particular favourites is the introduction of Death, in season 5 of Supernatural.

Martin Riggs - Lethal Weapon.
His shootout with a sniper, his jump from a building with a suicidal man, his first meeting with Murtaugh where Murtaugh charges him and gets disarmed - all epic.
Somebody set his shootout with the sniper to Rammstein...
^^^Thats more like saying he was memorable throughout the movie, though (which he was).
The first time we see Riggs in Lethal Weapon is at his beachfront trailer, with his dog, smoking and drinking while walking around naked (also memorable...and yummy).
^^^Oh MAN that was pretty epic. You just knew some shit was going down...!
Indiana Jones intro for me. You see him in silhouette, from behind, then at oblique angles, and not fully till after that first whip crack, where he turns, world weary, ruggedly handsome, and unflappable.
The fact that by the end of that entire opening sequence he gets outmaneuvered, chased by natives, and freaked out by a pet snake just added to the enjoyment, and feeling that this guy had some stuff going on worth watching.
