Funny thing about The Concentrator: It was only ever used to destroy some asteroids.
In theory, tapping every source of energy "should" make it absurdly powerful, but it's never been used against a villian or higher level being.

then....how can we compare the 2...? 
reed did say the anvil was the most powerful weapon ever devised by man.... from reed (who was aware of the council and its accomplishments) that is some damn serious praise. he was also completely staggered by the power it registered. again, considering some of the things reed has seen and battled, that is some ridiculous praise.
