Edward Cullen and Bella Swan (Twilight) vs Samara Morgan (The Ring)

Edward would just gotta smash the T.V screen (especially if it were an old low quality one that typically flickers with static) where Samara's ghost is about to crawl out of it.

If it were that easy to stop Samar’s everyone would smash the TVs. Unless TV smashing takes vampire strength. Pretty sure it doesn’t.

He meant that breaking the tv doesnt stop her. Once you watch the tape and get haunted, you are personally haunted. The tv is like a virus carrier and by turning it on you get infected. Once you're sick, the tv doesnt matter anymore. The ghost is the problem.

Now she cant really hurt them. Itll just be annoying to have her around until they do enough research to purify or banish her.

But i thought getting rid of the T.V where Samara is in might work if Edward tosses it from a much further distance along with her away from him.

Samara could become owned by Disney. Not much could stop her, then.

So if Samara could kill or harm Edward (like by turning him into a rotting corpse just by simply touching him) possibly due to some kind of her spiritual/supernatural curse, wouldn't he (Edward the vampire) be so totally screwed?!

What if upon contact Edward’s sparkle contaminates Samar’s and turns her into a happy well adjusted young girl.

Then it might sound like a cheerful happy ending for Edward Cullen if he could break Samara Morgan's curse or maybe even appease her with his attractive appearance so as to make her give up or quit terrorizing/harming or killing him.

Also, I wonder if Bella Swan (as a vampire) could survive Samara Morgan's Nensha/curse.

She kills with some kind of psychic attack and she is now facing someone who can shield herself and others from psychic attacks who is also super fast and super strong.

Though it certainly would be interesting to see how Edward alone would handle this. Psychic attacks work on him just fine, but we need to know the exact mechanism at work here. If she is using her powers to induce supernatural levels of fear so they die of fright that won't work(it would cause fear, but an undead being isn't gonna flatline from it). If it's just "I shut down your mind" it might work, but it's only been done to humans.

Then again Samara herself is some undead being and I'm guessing a physical assault won't do much either. Been a long time since I've seen the movie, can you even physically touch her?

But isn't it stated that one of Samara's abilities include burning images from her mind onto objects like walls or paper & sometimes also even the ones cannot be damaged so easily?

Then this sounds like anything like merely fear may not work on him.
