Yet he destroyed a planet while he was weakened by just jumping off!
People seems to forget key things, the planet Earth in comics, DC especially is the heart of of all things. That why beings like Darkseid don’t outright destroy it, yet shown to casually destroy other planets not named Earth.
Superman can hit hard enough, the Watchtower that circles the Earth from space, can feel the shockwaves.
Pis/cis for the Earth are removed, Superman doesn’t need to be sun dipped to casually destroy the Earth.
Based on the sizes of the crater Superman made when he punched World Forger and the crater that was left behind from a blast that killed the MU heroes and almost killed Thanos...
... would Superman be able to kill all the MU heroes (that were hit by the aforementioned blast) and Thanos at the same time with a single punch?
I think the answer is, quite obviously, yes. In which case we can ask: Does a punch powerful enough to kill Thanos and almost all the MU Earth heroes in one go have enough power to destroy the Earth?
Thank you for your honest answer. I think the same however I added the same stips as #25 because I figured people like “phone a friend” would answer the way he did.
Bait and setup thread.
Using comic physics then he disintegrates the Earth. Someone who can exert billions of star weights worth of force should disintegrate the Earth in a single strike.
Carver has said many times that collateral damage is not always an indication of the level of force someone applied.
I'd guess it's chunks of earth. Maybe obsidian, or similar freshly crystallized rock leaving the atmosphere. Crystallized rock reflects. Just guessing.

It has been generally accepted on these forums that the power of an attack can be much, much higher than what can be inferred from the collateral damage it caused. I.e. an attack can be almost entirely absorbed by its target without its energy or momentum "leaking" out to the surroundings. But if the marveltards do insist the opposite, sure, we can do some estimates based on the size of collateral damage.
Lets name the craters in my scans above as follows:
crater A = the crater left behind when Superman punched World Forger,
crater B = the crater left behind by the blast that SPLATTERED Thor across the landscape and almost killed Thanos.
If we take a look at my scans above, we can estimate that crater A has the diameter of approximately 4000 km whereas crater B is about 20 m (I can convert these into freedom units, if requested). The power involved is proportional to the volume of the crater, and volume in turn is proportional to the 3rd power of the diameter. Thus Superman's punch was at least
(4000 km / 20 m)^3 = 8,000,000,000,000,000 = 8*10^15
times more powerful than the Thor-killing blast. Since the Thor-killing blast was overkill, we can say that a single blast like that would've killed at least 4 Thors or 0.5 Thanoses.
Thus, Superman's WF punch was powerful enough to kill at least
32,000,000,000,000,000 Thors
or
4,000,000,000,000,000 Thanoses.
I leave it to the marveltards to decide whether a punch powerful enough to kill at least 32,000,000,000,000,000 Thors is powerful enough to destroy the Earth.
Please note that these figures are just lower limit estimates, the actual numbers would be much higher. Nevertheless, this estimate should be enough to deduce whether Superman's punch would destroy the Earth.
