Did the Grand Inquisitor go back to the light?

In Season 2(?) we see the ghost od the GI who is now a temple guard again and even dealys the other inquisitors. Did he come back to the light side before dying or something like that?

In short, Yoda was responsible for generating the visions at the Lothal Temple. That wasn't actually GI in spirit form or w/e.
