Exodus better crush DP quick, cause DP has too much raw power

Maxima couldn't do that until Polaris overextended himself [blocking Maxima + Power Girl, restraining Aquaman, floating Poseidonis] to drop his shield, get in his face and mess with his head.

his standard shields block tp? then i guess it's quick draw. i assume this is a 'confident' exodus? if he can't get into his head, not sure how this would go. exodus's shields are uber as well so not sure what polaris would do to get through them. i know joesph beat exodus once, but exodus has this thing with mags--not sure he was fighting his best there since he basically worshipped mags. i also don't think polaris is magneto. wonder if he could psi drain polaris through his shield. this is a really close fight imo.

maybe, but her tp powers aren't always shown consistently. seems like arthur would have taken him out in the initial meeting had he not been interfered with and he was holding back, not even trying to control him. we def saw him block max's psionic blast but that's not the same as tp. when arthur tried to get in his head again, polaris squeezed him to break the attempt off. he certainly doesn't appear to want to face arthur again, or his tp, and exodus is a far cry above arthur in skill and power. i'm not convinced from that showing that his shields would prevent a full on tp assault--not a psionic blast, but an intrusion. it's odd--from that confrontation, it appears aquaman's tp>max's. he didn't need eye contact to be threat, but like i said, max got a little of the silver surfer treatment in the team books, so not shocking. it also looks like they wanted to highlight aquaman's growing tp abilities there.
how has polaris fared against jonn in their meetings? that might be another good place to get an idea.

like phil said mags has beaten him, but exodus feeds off things like faith, and if his mind isn't really into it, he isn't as tough. he's always looked up to mags, so to me it's not hard to believe mags beat him. COULD exodus beat him? not sure, but he has a history, even without shields or his helmet, of being highly resistant to even the most powerful psi's so i don't think the comparison really translates all that well.
exodus is also an uber tk user and highly skilled with his psi powers. he might be able to turn himself invisible and get close enough to polaris. he has some options for sure, but the shields complicate things.
The fact that it took Maxima/PG/Aquaman + the rest while simultaneously lifting Poseidonis to get down his shield and only then use TP tells you everything.
Unless Exodus manages to quickdraw him [assuming Polaris starts without his shield], he would get shitstomped, tbh. Polaris is much more powerful and fights mid/high heralds regularly.

phil is solid in a debate, no doubt, though i disagree with him here but if he wants to rep polaris in a bz against superman (lol), loki or sd, i'd be down for that. sd would be the toughest because of ltd showings though. hell, i'd rep exodus against polaris.
