The Boy Blue w/ Witching Cloak respect thread
Okay, this is going to cover the character Boy Blue from the Vertigo comic Fables, when he was in possession of the Witching Cloak and Vorpal Blade. This is partially to show people what he could do, and partially to get some exposure to the comic for anyone not reading it.
First, for those who know noting about the book, I'll copy the first paragraph from the Fables Wikipedia article ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fables_%28comics%29 ).
Fables is a Vertigo comic book series created and written by Bill Willingham. It takes place in a continuity of its own, and is unrelated to the larger DC Comics continuity. The series deals with various characters from fairy tales and folklore who have been forced out of their native lands by a mysterious enemy known as the Adversary. They travel to our world and form a clandestine community in New York City known as Fabletown. (However, characters from fables with non-human appearance must live at the "Farm" in upstate New York.)
First we hear what Blue's been up to since going back to the homelands. Keep in mind, by this time he's been there for months. Then, Blue appears.
Casually tells the goblins about his cloak while taking a sword and axe hit at the same time and then disarming them with the Vorpal Blade (which he draws from the cloak).
