Who is Zarathos? Does he have something to do with Ghost Rider?

I'd say that Wolverine wins but I really don't know who Zarathos is or what he does.

Zarathos was nearly a god. He ate the souls of the people of that age, and as he did, his power grew. When his power grew great enough to rival that of Mephisto's (ruler of the underworld), Mephisto battled and defeated him. Zarathos was then forced into servitude under Mephisto. Many eons passed in this manner, until a stunt-cyclist by the name of John Blaze made a deal with Mephisto to save the life of a friend. As a result, Zarathos was bound to the soul of John Blaze, and from this fusion arose the Ghost Rider.

Zarathos wins.

Zarathos is the spirit that possessed Blaze which turned him into Ghost Rider I think. Mephisto and Zarathos have some sort of connection. Please feel free to correct me, because I'm going on hearsay.
