It was good as in you pretty much nailed both the musical and vocal aspects of the song, but it just sounds exactly like the original. The whole point of a cover version is to give your own interpretation of the song, not copy it exactly.

the backdrop in those pictures looks pretty proffesional, were you playing a show or something?

that is pretty good, the Original song was pretty impresive. Me and my buddies are in a band so we can really appreciate this stuff and how hard it is to write your own stuff.

Ordinarily that'd be so...

But if Greenish Day are a Green Day tribute band then the name of the game is often regarded to be getting it as close to the original as possible (as with most tribute acts)...
And in that regard these lads have succeeded I'd say....
Well done.

They have their own material, so they can't be a full-on tribute band.

Tribute bands for groups who still exist and are still recording and performing are completely pointless anyway in my view.

Fair enough...
But musicians in tribute bands are still allowed to record and get creative.... whether or not they choose to include those songs in their tribute set is perhaps another question...

I thought it was pretty good. Original song was pretty good too.
