But, seeing as Spectre represents the wrath of an apparent six-year-old, Mxy should pound him. now if Presence ever ceased to be amused by watching his "Wrath" repeatedly be defeated and gave him more a role than running gag, he can win.

Except it was just there for visual effect. He could have gotten out, but was afraid he would destroy reality doing it. Not that he couldn't have just made a big bang, as he's done before. But that's the way stories go.
