Durability also depends on thickness and shape.

So let's assume all materials above are a square inch in cross section and skin deep in thickness.

Then
Caps Shield 90
Vibranium 50
Thors Hammer 80
Supermans skin 80
Destroyer Armor 90
WW Braces 110
Source Wall ?
Monarchs Armor ?

Since when has vibranium only been half as durable as adamantium? Also, didn't whor use the hammer to smash through a door made of secondary adamantium?

I was always under the impression Vibranium was just as tough as adamantium along with the absorption properties. Why so low?

What if all the materials were two square inches in cross section and two skins deep in thickness?

Hey, her braces withstood the godwave, which is above King Thors eyebeams that melted Adamantium. Just adding two and two, which is 200 or so.

Since when is Cap's shield less durable then adamantium?

That is not considered canon. Earth-3515.

Bracelets were destroyed in alternate realities, too.

Lol@ all the newbs who failed to simply put the symbol for infinity next to "Superman's skin".

Re: If Adamantium is 100% in durability
WW Braces 200
Thor's Hammer 120 (dented adamantium and Cap's shield)
Destroyer Armor 120 (enchanted Uru)
Cap's Shield 110
Superman's skin 100? (highly context/version dependent)
Adamantium 100
Monarch's Armor 100
Vibranium 30

Source Wall ???
^^^that font makes ot seem very official.

I dont equate its absorption properties to durability. Its just MO, though.

Vibranium got shattered by Colossus, Protocide, Collective Man and so on... it is pretty low on the list.

That's antarctic vibranium, it disrups the molecular bonds of other metals.

Right. That's what I'm thinking of. And then you have the anti-metal that Black Panthers claws are made of.

@goober

Yeah, I tried to explain the difference to Vanguard more than a dozen of times in many threads in this forum, but for some reason he never gets it - or just never listens.

Afaik, Warpath's knives are made out of Wakandan vibranium though and he stabbed WWH in the shoulders, so it's far from useless as a weapon.
