I think Leneer still takes this, Malgus was clearly just messing with Sa'Hara. Malgus meanwhile didn't seem to be with Leneer from their fight.

She didn’t really do anything that Leneer couldn’t replicate tbh. In fact honestly, unless I've missed something about the two. This was really just your bog standard Jedi Master/Jedi Padawan duo. Like I didn't see anything from either that any other Jedi couldn't replicate or hasn't done.

The Jedi Master shattered the gigantic machine and was able to turn very large objects into projectiles - one of which he threw towards Darth Malgus. He was able to duel Darth Malgus as well. Darth Malgus decided to trap him before executing him with a lightsaber.

Darth Malgus collapsed the entire structure on the Jedi padawan and left. The padawan was able to prevent heavy debris from crushing her and managed to escape. Not sure how.

I wouldn't consider these Jedi as bog standard. Both were much capable.

None of those feats are anything big, standard Jedi have done similar or greater. Plus what I’ve been told as the expansion, Malgus was holding back. So the Master being able to fight him, doesn’t mean much.

I have not seen many Jedi being able to shatter a very large structure (or machine) or transform very large objects into projectiles in combat situations by themselves to be honest. The Jedi who could do as much were typically counted among the most powerful of the era. I recall a location in Tython where the Hero of Tython lifted a big rock and the observing Jedi Master informed him that few could do it - this is much lower feat than that of Jedi Master Denolm Orr.

In many cases, several Jedi banded together to do something impressive. I recall a scan in which 3 x PT era Jedi Masters managed to collapse a cave entrance with combined application of Telekinesis (these included Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn) - a feat that Jedi Master Orgus Din demonstrated by himself in a cave in Tython but he was one of the most powerful Jedi of his time as well. I also recall a scene in which 5 x Jedi managed to collapse a section of a cave with combined application of Telekinesis in Odessen?

Soon, Malgus would emergy from the darkness of the Temple, betraying and murdering his fellow Sith in greeting the two Jedi.

Master Orr commanded Sa’har to destroy the force-powered machine within the heart of the Temple of Nul and retrieve its holocron. However Sa’har fell victim to a force vision, leading Master Orr to panic and destroy the machine himself, only to fall at the hands of Malgus.

Witnessing the death of her master, Sa’har dueled Malgus only to catastrophically fail, as he destroyed the foundations of the Temple around her. Malgus would then take the holocron from her and exit the temple…
- Codex Lore #12 – Malgus on Elom

It wasn't an ordinary machine either but force-powered. Not sure what kind of forces would be needed to shatter a structure of this type.

There is no incentive to show average joe in SWTOR trailers. Darth Malgus would one-shot an average Jedi Master in a fight.

But yes - I also get the impression that Darth Malgus was holding back against the Master-Padawan duo. This is apparent from the fact he shattered the foundations of the Temple with barely an effort when he felt he was done with them. The entire Temple was shown to be falling apart when the trailer concluded.

What surprises me is how Padawan Sa'har kateen made it out alive from such ordeal because chunks of debris were falling above her. She must be extraordinary.
