Hey i just realized two things if rogue did use a uber being from her mind whats to stop Diana from using the godwave? Also isn' t ironic that diana's lasso of truth could probably get rid of all the extra people in rogues head and instead of helping her she'd be fighting her? Hmmm now that i think about the lasso Diana really wins

I think Draco meant they aren't genetic/physical.

I'm so it was a typo. I meant WW's powers AREN'T physical and genetic and it is ENTIRELY god-magic.

Absorbtion is the only edge for Rogue here. If that doesn't work at all, then Diana wins.

Too bad it won't. One haymaker is all Diana needs.

Actually, I beg to differ. In this case, Absorption WOULD work, Rogue would still absorb memories and life force, but as far as the mystical powers aspect, she would get nothing. Its like when Rogue would absrob a normal human with no powers, they would still lapse into a coma. Its just for absorption, WW is a normal human with a bunch of powers that Rogue couldnt touch anyway. The only question would trying to absorb those powers cause some sort of god like back hand and interfere with the absorption, or she would absorb normally and not get powers.

For the record, after its all said and done, I think WW has this, but I think this absorption question is an interesting subject, and the only hurtle we have to get over to figure out how the fight would play out.

In character, no. In powers, they are practically the same. Hell they're IDENTICAL.

No they are not.

Rogue cannot absorb WW's powers since all magical enchantments prevent such things from happening.

Can you PROVE that Rogues powers won't affect WW in the least ? Rogues absorbing power is a funny thing, she has absorbed powers from Gods, mutants and aliens (sometimes different ones at the same time).

This has been done before...Diana wraps Rogue in her rope, twirls it around at super speeds and launches her into Orbit without even having been touched.

So...why are arguing for Rogue? erm

[QUOTE=4938060]Originally posted by who?-kid
[B]No they are not.
[B]

Yes they are. Parasite's is just far more powerful though.

I already did. God-Magic, divinity status, and the Parasite. ANYONE who attempts to take Diana's powers for their own would face the wrath of the gods.

After reading through the 10 pages (*gasp*) I'd tend to think that the argument is split on a couple of points:
1) Absorbtion of power (strength/speed) - if Rogue can absorb, she wins.
I can see where Draco's argument is, and would tend to agree that that's not likely that the absorbtion will work on WW. The Gods don't have to intervene to have the powers 'stick'

2) Absorbtion of life/coma - again, if absorbtion works, Rogue wins
This one is a bit more tricky. I'd have to guess it comes down to how quickly this absorbtion thing works, vs reaction time of WW (which is quite phenomenal - to take bullets/lasers on). The moment WW feels the drain, I'd have expected her to pull away (before Rogue gets a good grip on WW). Tactically, Rogue pulling off the gloves might have given WW a head's up.

3) Physical/Skill stats - WW wins hands down on stats..
..but whether they're relevant depends on the fight. (rules: include arena? tools? weapons?)
--
There's the common argument of WW touching Rogue once and it's over - as a warrior (with brains), again, depending on the battle, she could quite easily pick up a big stone pillar (insert inanimate hard object of choice) or something and use it like a baseball bat!

Overall, my opinion is WW should be 6-7/10 with all 3 points unresolved. If any absorbtion fails, it'd go up to about 9/10

my $0.02

Any one who thinks Rogue would have a snowball's chance in hell of winning this fight would be well advised to take 5 minutes to look over the Wonder Woman respect thread (http://www.killermovies.com/forums/f95/t362733.html ). There I believe you will find ample evidence to show that A) given her speed and fighting skill (ie fighting the JLA while blind) it is highly unlikely that Rogue will ever lay a finger on her and B) Wonder Woman has more than enough strength to end this fight with a single blow. Normally, I would post the relevant scans but I'm too damn tired at the moment.

Also do keep in mind that since most of Rogue's body is covered with her costume, there would be plenty of vital areas that Wonder Woman could safely hit.

The only way I could see Rogue being a challenge is if she still had the ability to manifest every power she had ever absorbed at will, but I'm afraid that Sunfire's or Mr. Marvel's power sets just are not enough to beat WW.
