Saying it's the size of a multiverse doesn't mean anything, as it just means multiple dinensions/universes.

And as you've pointed out, these multiple dinensions could also be smaller than the 616.

Anyway, my point still stands. The DD is a single realm, and smaller things can merge with larger things. Doesn't mean they're equal in size.
