Question is this a streetfight or some kind of fight in a ring???
Second who here really has a good experience in fighting on the streets???
I was just looking all over the last 10/20 posts, you guy's seem to look from sport point of few.
In a street fight like I said before you have to know in what kind of state the person is and iff he has a weapon so hands and head would be important for the start of the fight and you don't look up??
Sure you want to tuck you chin in the chest so they can't knock you out.
But you sure ass hell won't be looking at there waist.
This is a streetfight right???
Why the hell you focus on the waist in a streetfight????
Focus on the shoulder area.
Iff you want to end it quick try to take out with a punch to the face or a submission hold and make sure you apply it hard so the person is in real pain.
He didn't have much choice in the first fight with Wandy, and in the fight with Shogun...
He also took Wandy down in both fights, tried to GNP him, and in the second fight Rampage managed to knock Wandy down.
I mean, Rampage is a wrestler as well as a standup fighter. He's either slamming people, or punching them in the faces, and after he learned more about standup, he was more and more standing up in fights.
The guy did move to K-1 for two fights, and beat Cyril Abidi twice. A huge confidence booster for his standup.
I can maybe see the Saku fight, but not the other losses (but that was when he didn't have much standup). Unless you're talking about all together his fighting career. Meh.
You know how long a street fight normally last???
Since it's not a fight in some kind of ring where you have like 3 to 15 rounds of 3 til 15 minute's.
Street fights most of the time's will last for tops 5 minute's and I mean a 1 on 1 fight not some kind of barroom brawl or some kind of soccer hooligan fight where you have like 10 0r 40 other guy's fighting.
It's cool you know the moves of your opponent, but you said you never look to someones head correct????
I mean you never want to land a punch yourself???
You just going to swing in the hope you hit him right on the chin?
Or are you some kind of wrestler ground fighter???
The reason I look most in the shoulder area is that I'm a boxing type of guy, you know I got a good punch and I'm not good with a kick.
I get in a lot of street fighters but that's because of my job, as a part time bouncer at a bar, so I break up the fights I don't start them.
Still I'm not a real street fighter I'm not even that big I'm only 1.80m and weigh tops 95 kg so I'm no big guy,
but Yesterday I had the luck to work with someone who really fought for money and not in some kind of ring, but a real street fight environment in Cambodia he has over 70 illegal fights on the streets
He said to me that you where right on the triangle part, and if you want to know your opponents movement you indeed have to look between the waist and shoulder area.
But that doesn't mean you should focus on that area, if you want to punch a guy you look at his head since you need the focus on the area of where you want to hit him.
The only reason to look someone in the eye's during a fight is wen you want to play a little mind game with him.
And now the get back on topic this means the wolverine villains don't have to look each other in the eye's

It depends on the distance. If I have enough range between me and my opponent I'll look at his whole body (usually I focus on the center mass, shoulders and hips) , but if one of us closes the range suddenly, then I'll definitely look at his head and shoulders because his head is the ideal target and his upper body signals the punches. You will get hit in the face if you focus somewhere else. Even if I'm that close to my opponent, I still try look at his body as a whole, you should never focus on a single part as different people have different styles and they might react differently when they attack.
There are several other factors a fighter needs to account for, you can easily tell the condition of your opponent by simply glancing at his face. The redness of his skin/cheeks. the way he's breathing, how's his vision. etc They will tell you a lot about his condition and maybe even hint what he's planning to do.
How does Gorgon's power work exactly? Does he need to look you directly in the eye or do his eyes just need to be in your view for his power to work?
Now, if my opponent has a sword. That's definitely what I'm looking at, if I need to pick one place to look at.

Gotta go with Gorgon. He's more skilled than the rest, has telepathy and the stone stare.
All this talk about looking at shoulders, waist whatever is pointless. This is a comic fight they all look each other in the eyes. Especially these guys, they enjoy seeing the looks of fear/pain on their opponents.
