The Bart that drew blood from Prime was merged with the speed force.

On a another note,

Also, Jay, the slowest and weakest flash, stole speed from superman and Black Adam, both of which are herald level, both HH depending upon your opinion. Wally has stolen enough speed from the Earth to stop its rotation on the fly.

Also, as far as the flash flying, iirc, Wally was blitzing Imperiex probes in space...

Said feats, however, still weren't enough to make me believe Nova can compete with Flash's speed on any level (as the scan I posted earlier clearly shows, even as a teenager Bart was able to casually operate by the attosecond.)

Just because the scans you provided didn't prove the point you were trying to make, it doesn't mean I "pulled the ol' KMC bait-and-switch." I sincerely hope you don't continue to construe it as such.

The point *I* was trying to prove? And what would that be exactly? Your response will determine where we go with this.

^ If you were trying to prove that Nova's battle speed would be enough to contend with Bart on some level (which -I thought- was the point of those scans) then the evidence wasn't sufficient, imo. Don't get me wrong, they were still good feats on Nova's end -- but he simply isn't touching a fella who perceives/reacts by the attosecond.

thumb up Thanks for the info. Maybe you can clear this up for me. Is a speed steal fundamentally different from an energy drain?

lol. Not at all. Imo it was a foregone conclusion that flash was faster by a wide margin. I honestly thought you just wanted to know if he could move fast under the conditions you asked for. Ok no biggie.

Oh and I was only messing with you about the bait and switch smile

Yeah. A speed steal only drains the kinetic energy from an opponent, rendering them completely frozen.

For instance, If Flash stole Surfer's speed, he [Surfer] would still possesses the same amount of power cosmic he normally does -- he just wouldn't be able to move. At all.

No problem man!

Well, speed steal is kind of ambiguous. I think it's just the fact that the Flashes have access to source of all motion and they just manipulate that in order to manipulate the motion of others.

I've heard it called everything from stealing speed, to kinetic energy manipulation, to suspended animation, to cutting the connection to the speed force (motion in general). Tbh, I've always equated the Flashes to being somewhat akin to the surfer in some ways. They are able to manipulate an enormous source of energy, of which we are all a part, to a varied number of effects. In its own way, it's kind of like DC's pc imo. Sorry if that's a bad analogy, but in this thread, Bart is merged with it.

I agree here on the reverse of that though I don't think prime could catch Bart either.

Bart? Like the entire speed force? Well, I mean it was done at the very end of the series by another speed force user (his clone) with tech from the 853rd century iirc... but the entire speed force, all motion... that's a lot of energy. That was an isolated incident I believe.

Bart didn't have the entire speedforce then.

I can't believe Bart was supposed to have the entire Speed Force and was intended to be faster than all the Flashes put together.

Just....

That shit really needs a retcon. What a disappointment. If Wally got that kind of boost (He mainlined the Speed Force) during the 80's/90's, he would have turned into an Abstract or something.

I think Mordru drained the whole thing via Jay's connection. But like I said, Mordru's abstract.

I'm kinda with Rage here. That whole series kinda sucked. erm And yeah, Wally would have done alot better with it than Bart.

I completely agree. I was expecting more from Bart, but I guess DC just won't let him be the Flash. It's like they were leading up to it talking about how fast he was at a young age, but then they just kind of ruined it... erm Tbh, I don't really like Barry's run, he's not as likable as Wally or Bart.

Yea, it was pretty shit. I only read it out of hope that Wally would appear. I'm still certain Bart had trouble going past light speed or something (Don't remember the details).

Wally's the best Flash bar none (Bart was shit as the Flash and Barry's not even a character). Same goes for Kyle as Green Lantern.
