Listen in the old comix, Master Splinter explained how the bo staff was in itself a defensive weapon capable of disarming any adversary. Plus a lot of people sleep on Donatello's skills. He is not the weakest one, he is the one with the least aggression. Therefore he will not fight with as much intensity in a fight as the rest. Now bloodlusted, Donny is well capable of taking out either Raph or Leo

I agree that Donny can beat Leo or Raph, but I wouldn't give him the majority, particularly against Leo.
He is slower to anger though, and I agree that the gap isn't huge. People make it seem like Donny sucks.

Being a master of the bo-staff gives Donny a huge advantage over Raph's mastery of the sai. And then, it's not as if Raph is leagues away in hand-to-hand skill. The gap is very small.
See what I mean?
true you are correct there.
Don is only slightly less skilled then raph, but his weapon should mroe then make up for the skill weapon.
you may be correct that don could take the majority from raph.

raph and leo ftw. Donny's good but a decided weak link and mikey's just as easily effected by cis as raph is.
Wouldn't be sure about that. Raph's always been the easiest to manipulate. His anger is a glaring weakness & everybody knows it. Annoying Mike and logical Don would easily exploit it. Every time he misses a punch or kick all they have to do is make a "too slow" or "too sloppy" comment. He'll just get angrier & sloppier.quote: (post ) Originally posted by Tha C-Master

Ditto. I'd give him the majority against Raph.

And don was the brotha, he does wear purple after all.
Leo was Japanese, and The others struck me as white, particularly Mikey.
Me too.

He'd kick his ass in the videogame definitely. However Raph seems to intimidate him, he has on a couple occasions. (even though off guard).

In the Video games, Donatello had the longest reach and strongest attack but he also had the slowest attack. Raph was the reverse. That was only done to balance things though. TNMT 3 for NES, Raph had the best power move.

yup your right. Raph may have the edge in hand to hand but in a combination of weapons mastery and fighting skills, and the fact that the Bo is superior to the Sai, Don would take at least the tie breaker in a best of 10 match over Raph

Yeah true. Don's gotta have an edge in something other than being a brainiac and I think being the strongest is well deserved.

Anyone remember the 4 player arcade version?
Who was your favorite turtle to use and why?
Mine was Don, because of reach.
Leo had somewhat of a reach but I just never felt comfortable using him
Mikey was my next favortie to because the Chucks had some quick attacks.
Raph was worst to use with that short reach. When the foot sldiers surround you its even worse, because he had a rolling attack instead of a jumping one the the others had

No he didn't I have the game right now.
Mikey hit the hardest, but was slow and hit slow. (he could beat any normal foot in the game with just one combo).
Don walked the slowest but had the most range a weak normal.
Raph was the fastest with the strongest dash and desperation move, but had poor defense. And range, and mild damage.
Leo was second best in everything, but his finisher made him leap.
I used Leo and Raph because I don't like slow, Raph was for experts.

Tournament, I thought we were talking about the arcade version.
Mikey was broken in that game if I recall.

In the comics Mikey was always the best fighter in pure ability but lacks the discipline to train.
