Hulk couldn't land a lick on Zeus whereas when he fought Gladiator, Hulk completely annihilated him. I dislike H1 right now for making me debate against one of my fave characters.
The criteria for ending a Thread here seems rather erratic.
I'm still a bit steamed that the WB vs JLA thread was killed before its time.
If you put that one up for Poll Vote- you would get a mixed bag.
Put this one up- you get a power stomp.
Gladiator is a Superman Clone.
Zeus is a Skyfather, and he can self amp himself to the maximum of his Skyfather Power-Set.
Be it lightning blasts, or giant electric charged fists- the damage output potential remains in the same league.
Gladiator is not a match for a major Marvel Pantheon Leader.
I really do not get why the notion of "Super-Clone vs. God" holds more validity as a debate topic than the notion of "Mega-Hulk vs. DC's Greatest Super Team."
Lack of balance much?

Skyfathers arent stronger than all high heralds.You have to prove to what limit Zeus can amp. Because I haven't seen anything close to planetary strength from him.
abc logic don't work. Hulk landed a hit. Glads didn't use his light speed at all. So you would argue that Glsds have light speed when it suits you (against d.c. chsracters).
faster than a real human but slower than spidey. Close to CA but probably a little slower.
Explain the definition of multiplication. Explain the definition of whole numbers. Explain what are real numbers. How is 2 by definition greater than 1?
In my humble opinion; two posts in a 16 page Thread hardly constitutes Trolling my friend.
And to answer the implied intent of your question- the two posts that I did make were designed to:
A). Make a point.
B). Ask an honest question while making said point.

We have never had an exchange on this subject.
I have made no post regarding Gladiator's speed, nor have I commented on the speed of Zeus.

But you would not know this, because we have never interacted on the subject of Gladiator's speed.
Could you kindly quote the post where I attempt to debunk the light speed potential of Gladiator? Because I would love to read the post myself.
Perhaps I had an unknown out of body typing experience?
Look champ, this is basically what I have posted thus far:
A). I've made it clear that I feel Gladiator is not in the same league as Zeus. I have NOT elaborated on a reason my stance yet.
Nor have I addressed the topic of combat speed- for either foe. (I.E.- Right now, you are basically making up your own points, and then debating them. It's moderately entertaining to read; but it really has no application to my post.)
B). I've made it known that I find this Thread has no more value, in and of itself, than other Threads that have been closed by Mods on this site.
I expressed concern for this, and asked why it occurred.
I did this with intentionally mild sarcasm, as a means to convey my frustration without resorting to less tactful forms of expression.
That's pretty much it. We have had no direct interaction beyond this.
But I have enjoyed reading your melt-down. So thanks for that.
P.S.- If you would like to actually know why I put Zeus in another league than Gladiator, then please feel free to "ask", prior to doing this with your post:

Yeah, I remembered he did the same with the Ozymandias vs Kingpin thread.
Funny thing is, he probably thinks he's the don for pushing us to the limit, when in actual fact, it's merely because we're all too lazy to post scans.
Strangely, in the Ozy/Kingpin one, he folded quickly once I posted some scans. Which he should have easily found had he looked at the Kingpin's respect thread.
I think the same thing is happening here. He doesn't actually know what Zeus is capable of, so will stick to his position until someone actually bothers pulling up scans of a very little used character in Marvel.
Whilst ordinarily admirable, by not listening to the groupthink, the way he's been proven wrong before should really make him humbler and more open to the possibility that once again, he could be wrong.

And IMO- you are correct- it's more than enough of a Speed Feat to qualify Zeus as capable of landing hits on Gladiator.
(Keeping in mind that Thor's Hammer Throws have been clocked at well above Light Speed...)
