As for his consistent showings even that seemed to have improved after Mortis. Pre Mortis he gets force choked by Ventress and doesn't seem to be able to handle hers or Opress's TK any better than Kenobi can.

Post-Mortis he's tanked all Dooku's Force attacks and overpowered him in Sabers. So it's pretty unlikely that by ROTS he can't compete with Sidious in any way, any place whatsoever. Thus the quote of needing to be Mace or Yoda is no longer a flat out statement in any condition and without context.

Anakin can take on Darth Sidious? Please explain such a situation because I can't see it. And wasn't Anakin overpowering Dooku because Darth Tyranus was underestimating Anakin and just using one hand against him?

I personally think that he could take him on for a bit, but will eventually lose. Same with Kenobi.

Sidious would TK rape Kenobi, saber rape him, lightning rape him; However he decides to rape him.

Anakin, tapping into his rage with forcus and clarity, as he did in his last fight against Dooku, would no doubt put up more of a fight than Kenobi would, but Sidious still takes a vast majority. In fact, I don't see any way for Anakin to defeat Sidious. Sidious has better speed feats, and while Anakin may have superior physical strength than Palpatine, it's not enough to make a huge difference in a saber duel. After watching Sidious's performance against the brothers, he has comparable strength IMO, so Anakin won't be battering down his defense as he did to Dooku. As for TK, well Sidious easily overpowered two TK beasts simultaneously with his own TK, so I'm not seeing how Anakin stands a chance in that area.

He should at the very least be comparable to him in a strict Sword duel.

I definitely see that much. Although Sidious can still probably toss him around with the Force the way he did Maul.

That's the case on a consistent basis anyway. But what I was explaining was that what Skywalker did on Mortis shows he has it in him to defeat any Jedi or Sith. It's just very rare he's able to unleash such power.

You can argue it was a Mortis only feat. But then that would mean an Enraged Skywalker could possibly kick Sidious's ass on Vjun or Byss as well. Basically anywhere strong in the force that Skywalker can take advantage of would give him a bigger advantage than his opponent apparently.

Personally I don't see the evidence for that except he didn't do it again. But then he didn't do it on Mortis again either. So more likely he was tapping into potential he doesn't usually use.

Which fight you talking about? The "Crisis on Naboo" one? One handed fenicing is his style. It's actually a good style to deflect the strikes of powerhouses, just like Maul did to Opress. With Count Dooku it's especially useful because he keeps his other hand free for Force attacks.

And he's fought Skywalker enough times. He shouldn't really be underestimating him anymore.

The better argument would be Dooku fell because he tripped over the stairs. But either way it's clear Dooku wasn't winning in Sabers. But his force powers probably gave him the edge.
