I know a site that has a picture of the prototype of The Thing but they won't let me post the link so just put these together creativemovies . homestead . com
Then go to the photo gallery
let it be known that picture is not what the actual Thing will look like,as that is just a prototype designed by someone not even working on the movie.its all in the article.
I'm feeling sad for this movie. SpiderMan was a Marvel movie that was done so well why not the other members of the franchise.
Jessica Alba could make a sexy invisible woman. as long as they do now the relationship as sister (not son) of the human torch. she' older(i'm sure) but i think it'll work out fine. (I really love Jessica alba)
Thing not cgi? i hope he's cgi because i dont want to be reminded of caramel popcorn the whole movie.
guy who directed barbershop?? was that a good movie anyone, this is a whole new genre ?
*crosses fingers and thinks please dont suck please dont suck please don...*
It has been confirmed for a few months now by Twentieth Century Fox that The Fantasic Four will have a $80-$90 million budget when even the first Spider-Man had a $150 million budget. This is considerably low especially when taken into consideration that Torch has to be completely on fire, The Thing has to be made out of rock, and they have to go into space.
I'm going to reserve judgement for now, lest it come back and bite me in the ass. I have seen purportedly bad actors, or actors that didn't fit the part find a way to make it work. Although I do have my doubts...it's too early to completely denounce the movie.
I'm not bothered about Jessica not looking like her although I think they should. Coz Michael Clarke Duncan isn't exactly a Kingpin lookalike and he played that role well I think.
Jessica Alba is a below par actress despite being shit hot.
Ioan Gruffud has gone from low league tv shows to King Arthur to this. As the leading man also.
The voice of Michael would work for The Thing. I can't say I'm familiar with the man playing Jonny.
Stuart Townsend would be a good pick, I think. In LXG, he certainly had the superior aristocratic air, with a touch of sinister about him that Doom perpetuates.
