Well Thor is one of those top tiers that just doesn't have a very good weakness to exploit like Superman and when he is using his cards right he can own basically anything in his class or below it.

Lex really doesn't have a chance to beat Thor

Is Lex THAT underestimated here?

Three months is more than enough time to use his VAST resources to use against Thor. Brainiac technology. Akolptilian technology. The Secret Society.

For heaven's sake, he invented a drug that give anybody any superpower they want, in the space of a week...

Nobody is underestimating but what could he realisiticly make to beat Thor.
I mean Lex even with a great resource in K-Nite doesn't beat Superman how is he supposed to do the same against Thor who has no weaknesses and alot more powers to use

I have to agree with Newjak and Howard. Lex hasn't defeated Superman for good yet so I'm thinking he won't defeat Thor with 3 months prep.

Superman doesn't WANT to kill Superman. He wants to HUMILATE him. Make everyone see that Superman is a fraud and that Luthor is right about "super"heroes.

He has a Doom-like persona. He'll kill Superman....but what he REALLY wants to do first is drag his name through the mud, make him lose faith in himself, and have everyone hate Superman with a passion.

THAT's what he really wants. After that's all done and over with, then he'll kill Superman. Has anyone noticed Luthor rarely attacks Superman himself? No, he attacks either Metropolis, or the world, or a person he cares about. He doesn't want to kill Superman's physical body, he wants to kill his spirit.

He could have killed Superman easily with the Worlorog when he had it. He instead chose to create a hard-light version of the JLA to kill a city.

Yet Lex Luthor has managed to kill dozens of other heroes without prep and he's played cosmic chess with Metron.

The reason Lex Luthor hasn't killed Superman is simply because he's SUPERMAN.

Just because Thor doesn't have an allergic reaction to a glowing rock doesn't mean he can't be beaten by other means.

Luthor has COUNTLESS resources. Genesis tech, Promethian tech, STAR Labs tech, Imperiux tech, Apoklips tech, 5th dimension tech, 853rd tech, etc.

Not to mention the various magical resources he got from Neron when he was sent to hell.

Luthor isn't Doom...but he's as close as it gets.....

He could simply use a cocktail of the Superpower serum to give a being every power there is (i.e. 52), rebuild the Amazo robot with Imperiux tech in it, and create a hundred Doomsday clones with Brainiac intelligence...like he did in Hunter-Prey Doomsday.

Thor's f*cked....

Last time I checked, the Hero aura doesn't work here. What top tier character on Thor's level has he killed?
