Hulk has strength and durability, yes. But Namor is faster, more experienced, more skilled, more intelligent, and is strong and durable enough to fight Hulk. While Hulk isn't fast enough to hit him if he is fighting at the speed he is capable of doing. And Hulk's fighting skills don't even touch Namor's. Or his experience. Not to mention Namor's other powers.
Hulk is stronger. But not better. Namor would beat Hulk 6/10.
Yep, but even the writer can make mistakes. Infinity Crusade wasn't the best gauge for power levels, they had several errors in it with different characters. I don't take that whole scene with Walter and Ben to serious. Since many instances with the two and strength feats with Sasquatch's goes completly against what he said.
Namor isn faster, that's for sure. Hulk has defeated Quicksilver in speed, caught a tank shell from the air and such. And what has Namor done? Dodged a few lasers?
And indeed Hulk is a better fighter than Namor. He has defeated opponents with way more experience than Namor, that's something, isn't it?
Hulk also has healing factor that surpasses that of any other. Even if Namor hurt Hulk a bit he couldn't cause any lasting damage. And that's a fact. Also his endurance is way above Namor's head. Hulk has been hit by huge nuclear weapons and gamma bombs without effect. Namor once took a miniature bomb, wow.
Our green little fellow has also too good stamina for Namor, he has fought for days without food or rest. Namor got tired when fighting The Thing for few minutes.
And most of all; Hulk has so much power that he would beat the living hell out of Namor with a single hit. And more Namor tries, more powerful Hulk becomes. Namor has absolutely no chance.
Tshern's right again. Since all your arguments have been given, DarkCrawler, in the Namor respect thread, I suggest you compare the Hulk respect threads to Namor's. Namor is complete waste when it comes to compariosn against the Hulk. Don't get me wrong, I don't even like Hulk, but he's in a completely different league.
Also, Namor is icky.

And grabbed missiles from the air. Moved his hands with such speeds that he was able to make a detailed sculpture in middle of sentence. Jumped from a meteor to a meteor. Defeated Speed Demon and Whizzer in speed. Moved his hands with way past speed of thought.
Hulk is not better fighter then Namor. He smashed. Namor has been trained in hand to hand combat by the best soldiers of Atlantis, sparred with Captain America and Hercules and fought Thor in hand to hand combat. And name one opponent of Hulk that has more experience?

What are Hulk's greatest feats? Strength feats. And they only apply when he can touch his opponent. And Namor fighting to his fullest is way too fast for that.
I personally think Namor is probably faster than Hulk, but not nearly fast enough to topple him - the same goes for his fighting skills. What does it matter if you can do the Kung Fu when your opponent can pick up a near-by mountain and ban your head with it, repeatedly? Namor simply can't do true damage to Hulk. I doubt pretty much anyone can. And Namor DOES dehydrate. It's a character facet, you can't just say "but we're not counting that in!" It's one of his weaknesses. Asides from being icky.

If he's wearing his black costume, he doesn't dehydrate. And he does not dehydrate in minutes. Maybe 40 years ago when writers needed plot device for FF to beat him. He certainly hasn't dehydrated in all the fights with Hulk he has had.
And what does it matter when your punches can shatter steel when you can't connect them?
For every punch Hulk makes, Namor can make 10. Yes, he is that fast.
