Now on a more realistic tone, Goku could probably beat 80% of the DC characters and Marvel at the same time. But come on, he is Goku! He doesn't have weaknesses. No green rocks, no silly yellow suns, no red suns. He is what he is. Superman is so confusing anyway. He gets hurt by kryptonite, no wait he doesn't anymore. He needs the yellow sun, no WAIT!!!! Now he doesn't. Post crisis, pre crisis, Prime, Allstar Superman, how many names does this guy have? What an abused overly written character.
Why do people always say "Goku's greatest strength feat is moving a mountain" first off that was filler so it dosen't even count, and its pretty feesable that Goku can hurt Superman at Super Saiyan 3. When he was training with 40 tons as a Super Sayain he said it was just too easy or something like that meaning as a Super Saiyan he is at least class 85 and the next levels of super saiyan multiplies his power by 50 so he is defeinatly strong enough to take on Superman, why can't people think about these things logicly? I'm noty saying Goku would win every time but look at the numbers.
Oh and in this case Superman would loose, I mean Vegito would be there and he would turn Superman into dust he is unbelivably powerful.
Superman is stronger than every DBZ/GT character & SSJ3 Goku would not be able to hurt Superman. The most Goku can lift while he's at his maximum strength would be 200-300 tons & that's not much at all. DBZ characters are very physically weak. Vegito wouldn't even be able to handle Superman.
Superman 045, whats up buddy? I can understand that you're really into Superman. But just think. Do you really watch DBZ? I mean you can't possibly. I dont think you realize just how amazing these warriors are. Here is what would happen if just Goku fought Superman:
Goku fights Superman(the one that is not harmed by kryptonite)
First of all he wouldn't even power up. He would just fight regular and then say, "Wow! This guys pretty strong!" Then he'd power up to SuperSaiyan. Then Superman would have a tough time. Then after a little bit, Goku would go ssj3, and then use instant transmission to appear right in front of Superman and fire a Kamehameha right into his chest, burning a hole through his chest, out his back and through his red cape. And if for some CRAZY reason Superman is still standing, then Goku would go SSJ4, and that really would be the end of the Man of Steel.
Goku fights Superman(the one who is vulnerable to kryptonite)
Bulma through research learns that Supermans weakness is kryptonite. Using her intelligence she is able to lock onto a hunk of kryptonite in space with a satellite and transports it to earth. Goku takes the kryptonite, powers up immmediatly to SSJ4, and then instant transmits right in front of Superman, and while holding the kryptonite in his hands, fires a kamehameha at supermans chest, blowing a hole through his chest, out his back, and through his red cape. End of Superman.
Trust me, this is exactly what would happen Superman 045. You know what, lets have some fun.
Superman vs All DBZ/DBGt
Well, Majin Buu, Baby, Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Gotenks, Piccolo, All Androids, Cell, Jenemba, and Brolly would surround Superman fire energy blasts at the same time and Superman would be vaporized. End of Superman. You need to realize something. DBZ/DBGT, its a different level man, way beyond anything Marvel or DC has ever done. Go Gennedy!!!!!!!!!
It's an interteresting debate DBZ versus Comics. Dragonball fans tend to have an inflated view of the characters due to the rampant use of hyperbole within the show. Looking at the manga objectively there is no proof within that they are the universe beaters that their fans belive them to be. They are also usually armed with only a vague knowlege of the character they are arguing against.
I never got got the whole range attack power is proportional to strength idea. No one assumes that Cyclops has super strength. DBZ characters have powerful energy attacks, there is no evidence that they have physical abilities in the same range.

Superman has way more endurance then Goku, I mean look at every challenging fight Goku has had. Always runs out of juice and gets his butt handed to him, without those beans he uses he would be toast.
