It kinda sucks though..

and I know what you mean, that's why I hated saying that. I've had opponents not take me seriously before and I end up winning by default. Or I had people far better than me wanting to duel me so they could add a win to their roster.

+ Mountains work well with render.
+ Cool blue colors work well.
- Background is bare
- Overall quite simple and plain

+Colours work well.
- Random splatter brushes.
- Render could possibly have been used more.

Both were really good however due to the creative use of the mountains I have to give the win to pittman. good job both of you!

This was my second version, the first one had a more "dramatic" background but I didn't like the feel of it.

And I'm known for the random splatter brushes (for the record, it's a corrosion brush technically). But I can't stand a background without brushes.

A lot of people here agree with you but sometimes I like the clean look if it goes with the design, for this one I wanted more of the mountain top feel to it with the blue sky in the background. I knew that it was a risk but I thought that it looked better that way. I will normally go with what I think looks good then will it win or not.
