Thanos is strong no doubt about it but Dominus is simply in a entirely different league If I remember correct (which I am not sure I does) Thanos is very skilled in resisting mind domination but this guy is nigh omnipsy I doubt he could defend himself against him.

Thanos may be immune to reality manipulation to an extent, but Dominus warped all realities to try and shake kismet out of hiding; she fears him more then anything.

Superman was warping all of reality when he was in the T-vo state with Dominus, it was not a hallucination.
