No, he mentions this in the ESB AC, when Mace is dead, too, yet he still metions Mace. he is NOT referring to the Agen, Saesee, Kit fight scene but to OT Vader being 80% of Sidious. So your point is moot.
Nope, never. Sora has fought Mace and put up a decent fight, killed Oppo Rancisis with a back-stab, pwnd Tholme, and lost to Quinlan Vos due to cockiness, after tossing him around before that. He lost to Dooku, too, though after an unknown amount of time.
Yeah, but Mace grew even more in power than Dooku did. Dooku fought Mace prior to TPM, right? TPM mace is barely above Qui-Gon Jinn (stated in TPM novel that Jinn "rivals" Mace in swordsman skills). By ROTS Mace is strong enough to defeat Sidious in saber combat. That's a huge power jump.
Unlikely. In The Defense of Kamino Sora isn't super close to Mace but he puts up an okay fight against him.
we have debated this (literally) a hundred times (kiddo44 is a member of another form I post on). Kenobi was close because:
1. Maul was tired
2. Kenobi was using the Dark Side
3. Maul still defeated him and only later died do to his cockiness
Kenobi only lost to Dooku so badly because:
1. Kenobi was using offense, he is a master of defense, not offense, in ROTS, so Dooku got an easy opportunity to use the Force on him.
2. Maul is a vicious fighting machine, he will be constantly on Dooku and will never let up, never give him an opportunity to use the Force on him, very much the same way that ROTS Anakin did during his final confrontation with Dooku.
Not saying Maul and Dooku would be close, but your logic, for lack of a better term, sucks.
No, he only mentions Mace and Yoda in the ROTS Making of book on that specific fight, on the ESB commentary he is only talking about Anakin and Luke
"At this point, Vader’s plan really, now that he knows he’s his son, is to convince him to come with him. Join the Dark Side and together they’re going to overthrow the Emperor, which is the thematic devices used through the whole movies in terms of the Sith, which is Sith Lords are usually no more than two because if there are three, then two of them will gang up on one to try to become the dominate Sith. Anakin would have been able to do it if he hadn’t been debilitated and now he’s half machine and half man, so he’s lost a lot of the power of the Force, and he’s lost a lot of his ability to be more powerful then the Emperor. But Luke hasn’t. Luke is Vader’s hope. His motives at this point are purely evil. He simply wants to continue on what he was doing before which is get rid of the Emperor and make himself Emperor. He only sees his son as a mechanism for the ambition. His mad lust of power." Lucas on the ESB commentary
i know wookipedia is alot of crap sometimes, and i had never heard of it, but on there under Sora it says Shaak Ti beat him.
No thats not a good comparision, b/c ROTS Anakin is better than Maul in everyway possible, Dooku could more than handle's Maul powers. He hung with Yoda, when he was very tired.

I think you missed part of that, there. To be fair, maybe I'm wrong, I'll check the AC and get back to you, though not until at least tomorrow night.
That's wikipedia, not wookieepedia (the star wars wikia), right? Hmm, I'll check... I don't even see Sora on wookieepedia, though it seems the page may have a temporary error on it. Hmm, I see... sounds as if some Shaak Ti fanboy wrote that. But, just to be sure, I asked. See
As you see, I've read all the appearances that Sora is in, and this never happened unless an appearance is missing from the list. It also says nothing of the encounter in Shaak's page.
Edit: The link doesn't seem to be workong, just go to Sora Bulq's wookieepedia discussion page.
'Very Tired'? Proof? And Maul wouldn't be as strong as Anakin, but his fighting style, not letting Dooku let the Force, would be similar to the way that Anakin fought Dooku.
