I don't recall solar system being mentioned. I remember him saying he was going to blow up the planet. I also remember him saying now that he had Goku's instant transmission to teleport from world to world and blow them up. Why bother if he could just blow up the solar system in one single blast?

Going for Solar System by Solar System would make it a lot easier, but then again, it might shorten the entertainment.

Bah, mere posturing. It's a battle tactic to try and psych out your opponent by appearing to be bigger or badder than you are. "Cancelling it out" By throwing more energy at it simply releases more energy into the area, the fight should have destroyed the solar system if one side of it could have.

Hyperbole, nothing more.

Well, Superman´s lightspeed certainly don´t cause sonic booms (sonic booms occur already at soundspeed) causing massive destruction upon the world.

Yet we assume that he goes faster than light because it´s stated.

He doesn't say that he can fly at light speeds, he flys at lightspeeds.

Cell's power is based on the tactics that even a house cat uses, its stands up as straight as it can and sideways and puffs out its fur to look bigger. It's not mind you but that's what it looks like.

Wrong, it's post crisis. The third scan even has the date it was published: 1991.

I have a hard time finding the date on that one, but I´ll trust you on that.

But he seems knocked, and that´s the point of this thread, who could take the blast to the cheast and stay conscious.

Him saying it and actually doing it are 2 different things. Cell's whole character is boastful. He claimed he was the strongest being in the universe and got his ass handed to him by Gohan.

Yes Odin did, twice I believe actually, one time in his fight with Seth (possibly PIS) and one time in his fight with his darker side. thats two. Then there is the time where he had a battle that raged from one end of the universe to another and toppled planets like anthills. Want scans? Just give me the word.

didn't one of them say 1991 that Post crisis isn't it.

You have yet to prove it was near that magnitude as Celestialdemon so rightfully said.

Cell's power was overthrown by Gohan.

The damn Earth was crumbling under their clash and Namek (who is lightyears away from earth) could feel their power.

And Super Perfect Seru took out more than half of Gohan´s power with a finger blast.

And I don´t know if this count as evidence but according to the Daizenshuu, Kamesennin´s powerlevel was 139 and SSJ Goku (first time reached) 150,000,000

That´s over a million moons already, and about 350,000 earth´s

Goku trained for seven days before reaching Namek, and increassed his power from 12,000 - 90,000

And Goku trained for three years before the Cyborg saga, when warned by Trunks.

So if he can 8 fold his level in a week imagine what he can do in 3 years.

And then we have the one year of training in the Room of Time and Spirit.

Technically it should not be impissoble for Cell SSJ2 state who in normal state was far beyond Goku already.
