Ah yes. Complete domination. Could that be a loss of cred though? I mean, GSP handled him in all three of their fights (even though he got caught by an armbar in the first). smile

He only did like 3-4 kicks if I recall, he didn't do that many

But it's not like Chuck really has ground game either though

Well considering how Hughes brags he is the best in the world and no one can beat him, but then GSP beats him at his own game I would say so.

GSP is actually going to compete for Canada in the Olympics in wrestling. That could be interesting

Meh. I recall more than that... but he missed almost all of them, except one. No point in trying a failed tactic. erm

He has the ground takedown defense though, and Silva's more of a striker.

Still though, We've already found out GSP is better than him in three fights (although he lost the first), so can we really say he lost cred in the last fight, or would it be the other two?

Well, after he dominated two top wrestlers... I can't see him losing.

The kicks wern't working at first for Keith, but damn didn't take long it started to work

He does, but Silva is no sloutch in takedowns

Like I said considering even in GSP vs. Hughes 2 he was saying Canadians can't fight, and bashing Canadians and going about how his ground and pound is unbeatable darn right it's a loss of cred. Well more in his mind I guess

Four actually, Sean Shrek, Frank Trigg, Matt Hughes, & K-OS shifty

Keith was actually connecting on most of them, from what I recalled. Haven't seen it since I ordered it though...

Meh, Couture failed to take him down... Plus, it would be a little out of realm for him to do that, than what he did me thinks.

Ah, didn't know about that one. Da bastard deserved to lose then.

I was thinking current. You also missed pubic hair. Five.
Unless you're talking about Koscheck, and not who I think you were talking about... as in the singer. embarrasment

I would have to rewatch it myself, I really don't want to as I dislike Keith with a passion

Meh! Couture even admited he was going through emotional and personal problems as that time and wasn't at his best. Divorce and all

Yeah he was ripping apart Canadians pretty bad saying since Georges is also French so he is already going to give up before the fight happens or some shit like that. I can find the link if need be.

Pfft...fine two current then. haha yes Josh, and not the R&B singer. Also what the heck is going on with the lightweight belt? At first Penn and Joe were suppose to fight for the interim belt, but now it's billed as the world lightweight title? Did they take it away from Sean?

"He successfully defended his title against Hermes Franca at UFC 73 on July 7, 2007, winning by unanimous decision after five rounds. On July 19, 2007 the California State Athletic Commission announced that Sherk and Franca had both tested positive for banned steroids in post-fight drug tests. After testing positive for Nandrolone, Sherk was fined $2,500 and suspended from competing in California until July 6, 2008. He has since filed an extension for his appeal hearing.[3] His appeal was December 4, 2007, which saw Sherk's suspension reduced to 6 months, making him eligible to fight in early January 2008.[4] According to UFC President Dana White, Sherk has passed a lie detector test that he did not knowingly take steroids.[5] Several recent studies have shown banned substances in nearly 1/4 of the tested over-the-counter supplements which might support Sherk's assertion that he did not knowingly take steroids.[6] Sherk also noted errors in the lab testing procedures used, as three people tested immediately prior to him tested positive for steroids.[7]. Sherk claims that the failure of the lab to properly test the vials used in the earlier, positive tests for any remaining steroid content may have resulted in his sample becoming contaminated with nadrolone.[7]

The UFC announced on November 12, 2007 that Sherk will most likely be stripped of the lightweight title if the steroid ruling is upheld by the CSAC.[8] Joe Stevenson will fight B.J. Penn for the vacant title at UFC 80. Sherk will fight the winner for the Lightweight Title, possibly in April or May of 2008."
