True, but it can be argued that Pip with the space gem, Thanos with the reality gem, Moondragon with the mind gem, Drax with the power gem, and Warlock with the soul gem are not the same threat as Parallax individually. This is added to the fact that Thanos, the only gem wielder who truly understands his gem, also understands that the reality gem cannot be sued effectively on its own, and Warlock was betrayed by the soul gem.

Besides the IG of course,
the Reality Gem and Time Gem together, is the most powerful combo of all.
We've seen 4 Gems (Power-Soul-Space-Mind)
create from scratch UniverseS back to back,
simultaneously stacking said UniverseS on top of each other,
they created/stacked so many Universes that the Omniverse itself nearly collapsed.
But better yet ...
The Two Gems (Reality and Time) actually nullified all those Realities created by the 4 Gems,
and then ultimately created a new Universe (which was the Ultraverse again)
That's the greatest on panel showing of the Gems. (not IG)
The greatest on panel statements were made by the Soul Gem, LT & Thanos:
The Soul Gem said,
the IG could conquer both MultiverseS.
(the one housing 616 and the one housing the Ultraverse)
The LT basically vouched for the Soul Gem by saying,
the IG would bring about the demise of Rune's Multiverse,
and perhaps his own as well. (616 Multiverse he surveys mostly)
Thanos/IG said,
"I am Supreme in this, and All UniverseS"

Merged the 616 Reality and a duplicate 616 Reality in an instant.
Completely owned the Ultimate Nullifier (Multiversal remaker) with a thought.

(616 Eternity is a single reality possessing the power of the infinite Multiverse)

Why didn't the IG do much more?
Because Thanos only wanted one Reality (616)
Because Nebula only had time to rearrange one reality (616)
Because Warlock didn't want any reality.
But obviously folks,
when we see what 4 Gems, or 2 Gems can do,
we don't need to reach much on the IG's potential
if the wielder wishes to take his adventure beyond a universe.
Also, as Galan pointed out,
the Time Gem alone froze the entire 616 Timestream.
