So should any comic character. But they haven't avoided death more spectacularly than any other popular franchise.
....
Batman's name has come up a lot, rightfully so. Any of the big names (sans Spider-Man, annoyingly enough) possess epic auras. Cap, Supes, WW and Hal occasionally, Wolverine, Batman, etc. But the question is which is the most ridiculous.
Consensus seems to be the Bat. For good reason too. Kal's aura is considerable, but he's a legit top-tier planet-buster. To a certain extent, some of his feats are much more reasonable than a peak human surviving as much as Batman does. Even Cap's shield gives him a means by which he should survive blows from people far more powerful than him.
Still Squirrel Girl, for me. The Spectre-Batkick is out of context and not actually a feat. SQ actually does have a canon victory over someone with abstract power (Thanos with the CC).
i always though that since batman shouldn't be outside of gotham, a team skirmish would end him. a stray ray blast or debris, maybe an explosion kills him or a shot from a meta-human.
not that i hate him or anything but the jla face some heavy duty villains, for example general eiling, the collateral damage alone from fighting him should have aced like 5 heroes.
the old squadron supreme war is kind of what i mean, characters getting killed when they get into fights over their heads.
__________________ I'd like to share a revelation that I've had during my time here. It came to me when I tried to classify your species that I realized you aren't actually mammals. Every mammal on this planet instinctively develops a natural equilibrium with its surrounding environment, but you humans do not. You move to an area and you multiply, and multiply until every natural resource is consumed. And the only way you can survive is to spread to another area. There is another organism on this planet that follows the same pattern. Do you know what it is? A virus. Human beings are a disease, a cancer of this planet. You are a plague, and we...are the cure.
