I thought it was Kurse who was vulnerable to metal. What issue?

Yeah, I've been trying to figure that one out for some time :/

Doesn't make sense.

It was like the writer pulled it out of his ass. If Ulik can be killed by a small piece of metal jewlery in his mouth then Balder could have stabbed him with his sword years ago.

It was one of the last issues of the 2nd series. issue 81 or 82 I think. 83/84 maybe even

Yup. And even the dark elves weakness to iron isn't that great. It's not poison, it just bypasses their durability.

Regardless, that odd incident shouldn't have too much of an impact on this fight.

what happened to wolverine in the last scan?

anyway, why the handbooks from the 80's (a lot of entries have been virtually untouched after that point) had ulik at 95 tons or whatever is beyond me. he's quite capable of going toe to toe with thor, whom he frequently tries to rob mjolnir of and has to battle. his strength level should have always been class 100 +.

I wondered that myself. Ulik has always been an 100 class bruiser. I actually dont see too many guys being able to take Ulik other than Juggernaut, Thor, Hulk, Rulk BRB.

Who can really take him on Earth.
