They were fighting head to head for a while before Marv got blinded. And if Marv is better than Kevin, than why did Marv have to set up booby traps, diversions, and have weapons on him just to fight Kevin the second time? That time Marv was the one who tried to sneak attack Kevin and had a hatchet on him. However it was all backfiring and the fight was beginning to mirror their first fight all over again. Marv only won that one because of the handcuffs.
Marv rigged all that shit so that he could get Kevin close. He knew that if he let Kevin jump around kicking and shit, he was done for.

Riddick wrestled and killed a monster strong enough to swoop down, fly off with someone without losing speed, and kill it with it's own claws. He has also shown enhanced strength and durability in all 3 movies, and the games. He is just as strong, or stronger than Marv. Plus he's leagues faster, both of those will put Marv down.
And whats to stop Riddick from using something other than his fists to KO Marv? Think about the sledgehammer Kevin used on Marv, Riddick could easily twirl that around like a baton. No doubt Riddick will have difficulty KOing Marv with his hands, thats why he would pick up something from the alley and use it. And, as I said, all Riddick would need is a small piece of glass to open up Marv's jugular. With a blade, or anything that cuts, Riddick is a damn surgeon.
You are underestimatimg Riddicks strength, In the battle towards the end, on Crematoria, Riddick displays feats of strength that match/surpass what Marv has to offer.

Aside from his more supernatural skills, Riddick is in excellent physical condition and is an exceptional fighter with or without the use of his eyes. Whether as a result of his Furyan heritage or simple training, Riddick is portrayed in both films as being stronger, faster, tougher, more resistant to damage and injury, possessing more acute senses, immense stamina, and recovering more quickly than most humans from injuries; he is shown on more than one occasion dislocating his limbs for brief moments with only slight signs of discomfort. In general, Riddick possesses an abnormally high pain threshold and psychologically channels what pain he does feel into anger.
Riddick's abilities at hand-to-hand combat are particularly formidable, confronting one of the night-creatures of Pitch Black with only his bare hands and a shiv he had made, breaking its neck, as well as defeating one of the Lord Marshall's best Necromonger warriors in a matter of seconds in Chronicles.

Despite his harsh upbringing and violent streak, Riddick has been shown to have a certain deductive streak, rapidly concluding what had happened to the original inhabitants of the mining base where he and the other crash survivors had been staying, as well as finding the creature's blind spot in Pitch Black and swiftly deducing what had caused the firefight between the wardens and Toombs' men in Chronicles. He has also been described as having "a knack for escape", surviving not only the Lord Marshall's purge of the Furyans when he was an infant but subsequently escaping from various prisons over the course of his life. He is also able to quickly judge the quality of, and find even seemingly minor flaws in most weaponry, down to very specific details. In one case, Riddick concluded that the prized dagger of a Necromonger was "half a gram too heavy on the back end" after an inspection lasting all of a couple seconds. His only weakness (other than light sensitivity), as stated in the Pitch Black DVD, is his soft spot for children and anyone who really grows on him (those people become his friends), which resulted in his capture by the bounty hunter Johns (Cole Hauser).
In addition to raw analytical power, Riddick is generally an astute judge of character, especially in the dark side of human nature. A killer himself and resident of almost one hundred maximum security facilities, he is often able to predict an individual's negative impulses before they act on them. He has been known to be surprised on occasion, such as when Carolyn Fry in Pitch Black altruistically gave up a fast escape to save Jack (Kyra) and Imam from the alien creatures, and underestimated Jack's (Kyra's) affection toward him between Pitch Black and The Chronicles of Riddick, only learning of it after she had become a mercenary and resident of a maximum security slam. Otherwise, he correctly predicted which of the group in Pitch Black would turn on each other (in particular that Johns would try to double-cross Fry), and that the mercs and guards on Crematoria would turn on each other prior to his escape attempt.

One major characteristic of Riddick is his indomitable will. Despite finding himself in situations where the odds of survival and/or escape would seem insurmountable, Riddick always pushes forward and never gives up. Faced with several creatures far more powerful than himself, or any other human for that matter, he has shown himself to be capable of evading, killing, or even taming them. He has escaped out of prisons when most prisoners would resign themselves to captivity. When Riddick was mentally probed by the Quasi-Dead of the Necromongers, he not only resisted them, but also retaliated. Given the Necromongers' apparent faith in and respect for the power of the Quasi-Dead, this is a very impressive feat. Perhaps even greater was his ability to resist the Lord Marshall's attempt to steal his soul.
So yeah, Riddick is superior to Marv in every possible way.

No weapons on them to start, but there is typical alley debris everywhere. Bottles can be broken and used as a cutting weapon. Dumpsters may be scavenged for makeshift weapons. On Site Procurement, pretty much. Riddick can use a piece of glass on the ground, Marv can use a discarded baseball bat, etc;

I never said there were sledghammers in the alley, I was merely saying Riddick is so strong that he could twirl that sledgehammer like a baton. It was emphasizing Riddicks strength.
Riddick lifts guys over his head like they are nothing. Same as Marv. During his battle with the Necromongers, geez, musta been at least 30 Necromongers, he cuts through them as if they weren't even there. "He went through my men as if they weren't even there", Vaako's words.
Not to mention him going toe to toe with TWO of those alien creatures in Pitch Black. He broke one's neck as if it were a twig.
In "Dark Fury", Riddick takes on those two Shrill while he was handcuffed and pwned them. Marv would have been killed.

I cant find a youtube vid of it, so I'll go over the battle Riddick had with the Necromongers:
Riddick, to Kyra: "Remember that favorite game of yours"
Kyra, to Riddick: "Who's the better killer?"
Riddick, to Kyra: "Let's play."
Riddick has one blade, he leaps like ten feet in the air, kills a Necro, grabs dudes gun, kills another. Kills another with his knife, one with the gun, another with his knife. He lifts Kyra with one hand, spins her around like she is a rag doll, and she kills two more Necros.
Riddick dumps the knife and gun, draws his twin blades form his back. He kills 9 Necros in seconds. Then 8 more. Then 2 more. Then he grabs Kyra with one hand, tosses her at least twenty feet, she lands on top if a Necro, kills him.
Riddick leaps like ten feet forward, decaps a Necro, kills another, then faces off with another. He back flips, disarms the Necro, kicking the Necro's knife into the air. He lands, KO's the Necro with a front kick, then takes out two more Necro's, clotheslines another, then full Nelson's another as if the guy weighed nothing.
Riddick then catches the airborne knife, kills a Necro with it, sees Kyra in trouble, and throws the knife into a Necro's eye. Riddick then kills another Necro and uses the Necro's body as a shield when Vaako fires at him.
The blast throws Riddick back at least twenty feet, off the ledge, to the rocky surface below.
Didn't kill him though.
Over 30 Necro's killed in a matter of minutes, if that.
And he still had it in him to face off with the Lord Marshall and kill him.
Let's see Marv match that in strength, stamina, endurance and fighting prowess.

In that case I could definitely see Riddick taking down Marv. He'll just have to find a sharp object and start stabbing at Marv. It will take a while for Marv to go down, but his performance will definitely be affected. However Kevin is still the one to beat here. And I hadn't seen the Riddick cartoon yet, so I don't know if Kyra is any better in that than she is in the film. But if she's the same, I see her going down first.
Dont count Kyra out too easily, she was pretty badass in COR.

Marv and Kevin win. Riddick is a good combatant, but he would get slaughtered by Marv. To say hes stronger than Marv is just insane. Riddick has peak human strength true true. But Marve has more than peak human strength. Also keep in mind he survived the death penalty the first time before them having to do it again. Would Riddick? Im thinkin no. Kevin is faster than Kyra. And he probably is just as good of a fighter as her too. So him being FASTER and just as good combatant wise. Team Sin City win.

Marv stronger than Riddick? I think not. Riddick is furyan, man, and can take just as much of a beating, and is WAY faster. Kevin is more flashy than Kyra, maybe a bit faster, not by much though.

I realize that Riddick is not a normal human, but neither is Marv. Like I said basing on feats... Riddick has not done much thats more impressive than what Marv's done in the one movie. And Kevin would dispose of Kyra and then it'd be a double team on Riddick anyway.
