What feat did Riddick show that compared to the Priest's stone skipping vampire killing feat in the hive?

Riddick struggled to kill one alien in Pitch Black. And showed he could escape 2 or three later in the film.

The Necromongers were fodder. Priest showed a better understanding of projectile weapons philosophy.

Riddick may be awesome. But Priest showed better feats. If you can argue them I'm all ears.

The beginning of Chronicles where he's running on the stone-pillars while being chased by Tomes' ship/crew. Showed both speed and agility.

I was just referring/comparing to that running scene.

Pretty sure Riddick didn't struggle to kill that creature, he sliced it up quickly with nothing more than a home-made knife. Been some time since I've seen PB though.

I don't think Riddick's agility/stategical feats compare in riddick's favor.

Riddick studied the alien's physiology when skimming the skeletons. He observed their potential sight and perception by studying the structure of the dead.
Priest would do the same thing. Considering the level of creature the vampires were in the film.
Priest showded quick thrown knife skills to vitals of vampires. Such vitals would exist on the alien as well. Priest will see them.

As I said, arguably wasn't as impressive as Priest's running, but it's not like Priest is uber-levels above Riddick in everything.

Pure conjecture that Priest would just know where the PB creatures vitals were. Granted, I think he'd far well against them overall all, his lack of night-vision in that setting would likely be a problem though. Priest was trained to kill vampires; Riddick had the benefit of night-vision on a planet quickly going dark.

True. Riddick's night vision gave him an edge in Pitch Black.

But how would Riddick have fared against the vampires? Especially the hive scenes?

In regards to movies both are specialists of their respective film. Truth is I'm not familiar with the OP's choice of landscape. If light is necessary in the vicinity I see Riddick taking advantage of the situation.

In a straight up fight Priest can hold his own.

And going by Priest getting dominated by Black Hat, which was much slower(imo at least) than the Lord Marshal, Riddick has superior reflexes and reaction times as well.

As Priest's training to fight vampires gives him an edge in his film.

Probably not as well as Priest. How would Priest have fared against the Necromongers and especially the Lord Marshall.

Agreed on Priest. IMO, Riddick would win in a knife fight, but it's an extremely close call.

Lord Marshall owned Riddick if it wasn't for outside influence. Priest would've fared just as well.

-Yep.

-I believe Priest would've fared as well against them. And Lord Marshall. If givin the same experience in weaponry.

-In a knife fight it's only down to the OP's environment. Is it daytime? Are light bulbs needed for illumination? These factors truly matter.

Do we have a scene of the OP's environment scene?

We could use the "if he had..." all day, which isn't the point though. He doesn't have the same experience as Riddick, nor the other way around.

I'd assume it's well lite, otherwise it's a clear advantage for the guy with night-vsion; Riddick has his goggles so there being light won't boost or impair either man here, barring Riddick loses his goggles somehow.
