It makes sense actually. Thanos is a "warrior of death", trees embody life and must weaken him tremendously.

Explains the arrows of Hawkeye piercing him so easily too.

1. Clears it. He's a much smart and cunning fighter than Larfleeze.
2. Might have trouble with 7 & 8. Could win here as well depending own how he decides to fight this gauntlet. He could have a lot of gas left if he goes for the ko or kill of the 1-5.

1. Arkillo - lol. the guys a joke to Thanos.
2. Kilowog - Surfer lite brute
3. Saint Walker - what's he going to do? Pray for a win? This guy does less then Fallen One.
4. Sinestro - an actual challenge except Thanos has already sh!tted on guys like Surfer and Thor.
5. Hal Jordan - See Surfer and Thor's pathetic loses against Thanos.

Well I didn't put it in the OP but I was hoping people would get that this is the Saint Walker that can create constructs and what not (active GL ring near) so he is actually pretty tough
