So should it be made clear that guys like Doom and Reed are mutants or something? Cause thiere is now way a NORMAL Human should be able to pull off his kind of tricks with out some kind of excuse.

Would it have the same effect with someone inside the dome as outside it? Why was Doom trying to amp him? I'm not trying to downplay the instance I'm just making sure I know what went down exactly so I'm not corrected by someone else if I bring it up.
It was from the Graphic Novel Emperor Doom, Its been a while but I think Doom was amping Purple Man's power so he could control the world. And I'm thinking it would have the same effect inside because a strong will has been something Doom has always had,
Yep, Dooms plots to take over don't always necessarily have him wanting to rule forever. He just kind of wants to make everyone look like a fool and show how superior he is, then go back to his castle in Latveria.

Yes, Doom built the device to augment Purple Man to take over the entire planet, and he only "lost" at the end because he was bored with the entire planet being obdient to him, so he allowed Namor to kill Purple Man, thus returning the wills to everyone.
