Surviving an encounter with Obi is a decent feat by itself.
Jango also showed that he can aim his gun, iirc, most if not all the shots he fired at Obi would have hit their mark if Obi hadn't blocked. All the shots fired at Mace would have hit their mark if not blocked.
Jango also killed a Jedi, Coleman Trebor (The Vurk).
Oh certainly. I did call them "good" shots, not "lucky" shots. I was being a little demeaning for humorous effect, I know that Jango actually is a credible threat. If only his son had been allowed to be demonstrated as such as well.

You have to consider they may be talking about a future T-800 and not the one from 1984, which means they'll have advanced futuristic weaponry consisting of plasma rifles.
When you think of that, the battle becomes much more interesting, but if the battle is in the past, then the T-800 loses probably 9/10 times, bullets are scratching Boba Fett's gear and Boba's weaponry can and will easily melt the T-800 like butter, however advanced their metals are, they've shown weakness to plasma weapons in canon.
If that isn't enough, doesn't Boba have the jet pack, and all the weaponry his father did?
Regardless of whether or not Boba derped out, before Jango Fett was even a concept, so you can't say it was for "Story's sake", Boba was considered one of the most feared Bounty Hunters in the galaxy and the one that Darth Vader personally hired to hunt down Luke and his gang (it might've been just Han, I need to rewatch the OT).
If worse comes to worse and the blasters aren't enough, Boba has access to multiple advanced explosives like wrist rockets and thermal detonators, even in the future I'd give the edge to Boba.
Bullets injure humans too and the T-800 shrugs them off.
We've seen Arnold take a much more powerful plasma canon in T3. Blasters are not plasma weapons anyway. I recall the droid in Rogue One tanking multiple shots before being put down and Terminators have much better durability feats.
Why are you assuming the Terminator will be armed with 20th century firearms? A T-800's standard gear includes a phased plasma rifle in the 40 watt range. The ones sent to the past are the exception, not the rule.
Oh, I agree, but the topic creator hasn't stated whether it's the one from the past or a run-of-the-mill future T-800.
Also, was that a plasma weapon?:
That was an electric shock, from the looks of it. ^ Yes, electricity is used to make Plasma, but what Plasma is shown to be in the movies is clearly different then what the T-X shoots.
That was also a T-850, while there don't appear to be that many differences, they are PROBABLY more durable.
"A particle beam (sometimes plasma beam, or charged particle beam) is an accelerated stream of charged particles such as electrons and protons, often accelerated towards the speed of light. In the laboratory, such beams are created by particle accelerators such as cathode ray tubes, cyclotrons, and the dense plasma focus. In nature, particle beams are created by electric fields (which accelerate charged particles in opposite directions), such as those in double layers and Birkeland currents."
No matter how you slice it, Boba has all the equipment to ruin the T-800.
If we're arguing future T-800, I'd still argue in favor of Boba, he has the superior weaponry, he can fly, and while he isn't the best marksman in terms of the movies, I'd argue he doesn't need to be, he can literally just fly around while taking pot shots at the T-800 and easily avoid all his shots.
The T-800 is also extremely overconfident, usually rushing through everything in it's way, he'd probably think Boba was a complete non-threat and end up taking a bunch of blaster bolts, or worse, a thermal detonator.
