The status quo is a ship from Titan or created by Thanos (not of this world ) is made out of aluminum, titanium, steel, etc? The same Thanos who had a sword that busted Caps shield and took multiple hits from mjnolnir and storm breaker?
Do you realize how dumb you sound? Its an alien ship. Why would you assume its made out of aluminum, titanium, and steel?
Lol. Its your status quo. Why don't you have to provide evidence that it's not? Nobody else believes in your status quo.
Taking all things into consideration with the durability of Thanos's sword, the fact that its an alien ship, and that no other hero attempted to take it out, how can anybody assume it was less durable than titanium alloy? At some point common sense needs to take over.
I'm sure the spaceships are made out of the cheapest Chinese steel one can find 🤣🤣
Let me guess H1 , Thanos probably scoured Earths scrapyards and dumpster dived behind the NASA building to scrap his massive intergalactic traveling space bound fleet together?
And what is the status quo for all the teleporters and other highly advanced technology that we have no way of even attempting to replicate with our earthly materials? Probably just a bunch of copper wire wrapped around some IKEA furniture?
I don't have to prove something that is true by the status quo. It's either made of those materials or materials analogous to those materials.
The burden of proof lies on proving it is significantly more durable than manmade or earthly formed materials. Special attributes must be proven or they don't exist.
Plot induced stupidity exists in fiction. The heros don't know what it's made out of. How could they? They didn't even try to destroy it. (maybe they were occupied dealing with Thanos and his minions).
Doesn't matter because the lack of trying isn't proof to the existence of a special attribute in fiction.
Lastly, status quo = null hypothesis = no special attributes
It's not mine nor yours, it's its own.
We have zero evidence or data to back up or prove what kind of metals and alloys alien ships from another galaxy millions of light years away are composed of.
For all we know, they have a completely different periodic table of elements.
There is no standard or status quo unless we have viable screen feats.
Thanks for your ruling Imp. Also, just pointing out that the Leviathans have metal armor that even Hulk couldn't destroy with a full force punch that caused one to buckle and flip over. While Hulk quite casually rampaged and smashed through every wall in the Hellicarrier. One was made from alien metals, and the other from Earth metals. Hmmmm.
We don't prove negatives here. If someone or something doesn't have onscreen feats to back up a claim to having a special attribute then the claim isn't treated as true.
That's exactly what I was saying. The status quo means the ship gets no special attributes unless proven to have them. No screen feats = no special attributes.
For example, no one can't argue or assume the ships were 100x stronger than steel without onscreen feats.
1. Hulk rip the armor like it was tissue paper. What are you talking about?
The armor was destroyed by lightning, Tony blew the armor into pieces with a missile, etc.
2. Spaceships are not necessarily made of the same material. Fighting space ships have been destroyed by conventional weaponry many times in fiction. Some ships are designed to shield from cosmic radiation.
3. Thanos ship is not necessarily his own tech but can be the tech of some other species that built the ship for him or gave him the ship or it was the ship Thanos took by force. The tech behind the leviathan (both leviathan and chitauri are a different species than Thanos) could also not be of Thanos design. He could have just recruited them or force them to join him.
These are just a few reasons, there are more reasons why it is not necessary of the conclusion you are implying.
