I say Return of the King! I mean I hated The Matrix!!! It just seemed so stupid to me! Return of the King, like all the Lord of the Rings movies, will have the fans of both the books and the movies, while Matrix will only have movie fans!

Sam: I know. Its all wrong. By rights we shouldnt be here...but we are. Its like in the great srories, Mr. Frodo. The ones that really mattered. Full of Darkness andanger, they were, and sometimes you didnt want to know the end because how could the end be happy. How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad happened... but in the end its only a passing thing. The Shadow even darkness will pass. A new day WILL come. And when the sun shines it will shine out clearer. Those are the stories that stay with you and meant something. Even if you were too small to understand why. But, I think, Mr. Frodo, i do understand... iknow now. Folk in those stories have a lot of chances to turn back, but they didnt. They kept going because they were holding on to something!

k now that wasn't necessary... i honestly don't think revolutions will be as big as reloaded was because i think a lot of people were dissapointed... but still people will want to see what happens i guess.. who knows... BUT THERE'S NO QUESTION EVERYBODY WANTS TO SEE ROTK... even u matrix fans

there is really no need to bash either movie i liked both matrix and both lord of the rings however i really liked both stories and i dont think its necessary to diss the matrix thats ur opinion but if one day you make a movie as good as the matrix movies then you can diss it and if ur gonna review a movie do it in the movie review forums i mean its a simple question isnt it i think both will do really well and ill see both movies much more than once maybe like 10 each!!!!
I'ma go for LOTRROTK. It'll be close though especially after Reloaded being such an awesome movie! Wonder which of the two's gonna get the most Nominations.
no no no i love matrix too i'm just saying some people were dissapointed but i think revolutions will be pretty big cause people will want to know how it ends..... the only way rotk won't be the big movie of the year is because its released in late dec. ... but ya never know

I wanna say LOTR, because, personally, I like LOTR better than the Matrix, but also because LOTR is more of a legacy amongst a wider range of people than the Matrix. It's going to be intense either way. I can't wait to see it.

Im not really a fan of the Matrix Series ( no offence intended to all those who do like it) so i will have to go for RotK as i do like The LotR saga so far.

not fair to throw in the finding nemo deal because it automatically draws larger numbers to the box office at once..I.E..families go see this together...group buddies go see RotK together and g/f and b/f see matrix revolutions together...however, i believe that the matrix franchise blew it with reloaded..too much special effect and not enough good plot line..lets face it..when i leave the theater i remeber the special effects a week or two max..but if its a really good really well acted out scene that made your jaw drop...that's when i tell my friends.."dude you have GOT to see that"...i didnt get that with reloaded..i DID however get that with The Two Towers and that movie left me with a raging h*** on to see that final film..so logically i think Return of the King is going to conquer Revolutions..
yeah... i personally was disappointed with reloaded but i think there was no way they could top the first movie and achieve that same feeling you get the first time you watch it and you're like wtf.... but lord of the rings is simply AMAZING and once completed will be the best series of our time i can't wait!!!!
