Yeah, like, I read about the controversy, that people actually thought the director killed all the cast members. Talk about amazing, you can't do that with Hollywood movies.

it's true, there's this impaling scene and it's so realistic it's scary and sickening, and at the same time I was telling myself "it's not real, this isn't actually happening"

there are a few films which were accused of actual murder, ever heard of the gineau pig series?

I'm a bit of a film buff but I can get by without watching a film like Cannibal Holocaust. Seems to be (in)famous solely for the controversy it spawned.
