Probably because they think that Dooku would toy with Plo Koon, or because of all the evidence being brought up to support Plo Koon... which gets disproved, but that's not the point, and also people frequently vote without reading what people are saying. But Dooku will win, anyway. All we need to think about is how long Plo Koon would last.
OK than, ANOTHER mess that I have the "delight" of cleaning up.
Firstoff, I DO believe that Dooku will win, but the stupid, no excuse the word doesn't accurately describe these arguments; STOOOOOPID (that's better) arguments are getting to be too much. Firstoff, Rampant Ox, you amaze me. you are usually a good debater, but you have tossed logic out the window for this. You mention, to the data that Plo Koon 'died in a ship' that "Dooku died in a ship, too.' That is stupid. The Invisible Hand was a Capital Ship. A large Warship. Plo Koon died in a single seat fighter. One that from the looks of it had even less personal space than a German BF-109 of old, and he was shot down by a clone in a fighter to his rear.
It is therefore a moot point. Dooku (obviously) could use his lightsabe/forcepowers against the Jedi attacking him, and he did, knocking Obi-Wan (certainly not somebody who is weak in the force) out and giving a good fight to Anakin before Anni gave into his rage.
Plo Koon died in a single seat fighter, a position that made his position much more difficult. He was not expecting an attack, and he did not know where the fire was coming from, and thus, he did not jump and begin wheeling away and moving to engage. The fighter nullified any chance to use his Lightsaber, due to distance and range restrictions.
Plo Koon was the apprentace of Tyyvokka, a Wookie Jedi who had become VERY well respected as a Jedi, until Tyyvokka was killed in the opening shots of the Stark Hyperspace War when the Trade Federation's Droids began to malfunction and shot at him even though he was (in this case) a friendly. Thus, Plo Koon directed the Allied Forces against the Shark, err, I mean Stark Combine forces and despite being greatly outnumbered, he eventually managed to be victorious.
He also fought in the Yinchorri War, where the Jedi faced (you guessed it) the Yinchorri, who are basically technologically advanced, expansionist, force-immune (they could not be manipulated, akin to the Toydarians and most Hutts) bipedal raptors (look a their images) who were strong enough to launch a FULL SCALE RAID on the Jedi Temple, and they were able to kill quite a few Jedi, so that says SOMETHING about Koon, as he and the others managed to survive.
My point is that Do I believe that Dooku is a more capable combatant? Yes. Do I beleive that Dooku has more experience? Yes. But for crying out loud, that does not mean Koon will go down in one hit.
Lol. I was talking sh*t because I didnt like the guy blatantly supporting Plo (and insulting the Count) when it is rather obvious that Dooku can and will win.
The rest of your post is mostly Plo's credentials - which I must say are good, but they have nothing on Dooku's. Dooku is going to win without breaking a sweat.

I know dooku would probly be very tired since his age... yoda would of killed him if he didnt break that pillar and tried to kill obi-wan and ani... koon has alot of experiance too, wouldnt be supprised if dooku dies of a heart attack or stroke... lol

I was never disputing that I believe that the count Would win. I stated it twice. My point is that I doubt that Dooks could take him out like one of those pushover (sometimes in a literal sense) stork droids that the TF was robbed blind paying One Half-Penny each for. Dooku is the better fighter and is more experienced, I am not stupid enough to doubt that. I am not saying it will be one of the hardest battles he has ever fought, I am not even saying it will be terribly hard for him. I am just saying that he will not be able to win smoking or drinking a martini, and you won't be able to simply slash once and kill him.
That said, I would still give this to the Count of Serreno. Plo, for his experience, does not have as much as Dooku, or is as good a fighter as Dooku.
