What Kirby intended Darkseid to be and what he actually is means nothing. Thanos was originally meant to be a copy of Darkseid but people will argue that isn't the case.
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Question about Darkseid's power?
Which, of course, means nothing either way because this took place in the normal, mortal universe and thus Devilance would have used a Boom Tube to get there, which would have adjusted his size, which would be in keeping with that continuity.
Perhaps, but not as stupid as you might have others believe.
Lobo didn't actually decapitate Devilance. Devilance set off a trap that was meant to kill Lobo (who himself is basically unkillable, so that should tell us something) and was killed in the process.
You said that that bit had been retconned, and seemed to be saying that the Devilance appearance was in support of that. Later, someone even used that to say how continuity isn't respected, or something like that.
Ultimately, that showing has no bearing on that piece of continuity and, quite frankly, I don't think you'll find any showings that DO.
When did the Teen Titans travel to Apokolips sans Boom Tube, for instance?
Either you didn't understand that, or you purposely misled people into believing that Lobo is the one who defeated Devilance and hence "decapitated him".
It was the blast that decapitated him, indeed that blasted him to bits, and that had nothing to do with Lobo himself.
At the end, sure. Other parts of your post were presenting facts, and were not 100% accurate, so I gave my take on them.
