No, he jumped down some stairs with his hands out, and that wasn't a saber throw, if it was, why didn't he call his saber back to him?

So you admit he might have that force-field power from RoTS?

He did call it back to him, IMO. Watch, you don't see him pick it up it just appears right back in his hands, seconds later.

Also if vader could not fly, or it wasn't implied by Lucas that he could... then why could Vader fly in the RoTS super nintendo game? That seems a little random.

Do we see the saber flying back into his hands? No.

Nintendo games have no bearing here.

Ummmm yeah and it does not show him picking it up either. That was force-throw, even if they didn't spoon feed it to you.

Well I'm just saying. It's open whether or not he flew. I say he did momentarily -- you say he did'nt. Well obviously somebody somewhere in Lucas LTD thought he flew too. Ok ok I'll shut up about the Nintendo game, bad on my part. Still... you say he didn't fly I say it looks like he did.

You saying that was saber throw is like me saying Han Shagged Leia on the Falcon on the way to Cloud City. We didn't see it, but who's to say it didn't happen?

True, but also more powerful Force wise.

If he can control objects w/the Force, then why can't he control his lightsaber?

Look he threw the f*cking lightsaber and totally destroyed his target (a huge catwalk) with precision, he didn't pick it up after he threw it. This is the first instance of a force sabre-throw, where the hell do you think they got the idea?

Well from the looks of it - they could have shown Han underdressing Leia, shown them in foreplay, then shown Han on top of her, then cut to a scene of Ewoks. Even then you'd say, "nah he didn't bone Leia because they didn't show his winky going in".

Vader chucked his saber at Luke, it flew at Luke like a lame duck and hit the platform, there was no precision. He wasn't that far, anyone could have thrown it and had it hit as Vader did. I guess it can be seen as saber throw, but when I think saber throw, I think about a Jedi hurling his saber and controlling it throughout it's flight, then SEEING it smack back in his palm.

Again, EVEN IF HE DIDN'T, if he can TK other objects/people, why not do the same with a lightsaber?

I guess you got me there. On that note, then any Jedi/Sith with a degree of telekinesis can do force choke, yes?

Probably yes, but Jedi don't do it because they consider it to be a dark side technique.

I never bought into it being an "advanced" force technique. After all, it's just a telekinetic grip on the windpipe.
