BTW, I was VERY clear when I explained that Faako shot both of them, that Riddick lived because the Necro he used as a shield took the brunt of the blast.

You were all "No no no!!! Aaaaahahahaaa wheeeee!!!" As I was saying this.

I lost count of how many times I was talking about a scene from a movie we both saw and you were like "uummmmm..." And I would say "Dude, how can you not remember this?" All you had to offer was more "Uuuuuuummmmmmmmm.........."

It took you a full minute to realize who I mean when I was talking about Jett Zukasa. You were, once again, "Uuuuuuuuuuuummmmmmm...." It was only when I sighed and explained it was the padawan who was killed as Bail Organa watched that you got it.

This is what I mean when I say your movie memory is far from perfect.

BTW: Saying Khayman is a "she", twice, trumps me saying "furball."

Eli doesn't have any skill. All his martial arts abilities are a byproduct of God's will. Even if you take away his protection from harm, his mastery in fighting is still due to God's will so he would never lose a h2h fight.

Not against Riddick he wouldn't. Riddick had more impressive screen feats. wiki "Furyan", read up on Riddicks race of people.

Silly RJ. That 'rebuttal' only works if that's the only thing conveyed. That wasn't, at all.

In other words, I hit the nail on the head.

hahahahahaha

That's awesome. You fell into the trap.

So, basically, your entire original point fails, horribly. smile

Cept, it's even better, for me: you expect me to remember little B.S. items like that from movies that I've watched over 7 years (and sometimes over 15 years) ago, when I've seem the once and you've seen them multiple times and recently, but if I try to call the same thing out, on you, for a movie that you've watched a sh*tload of times, it doesn't count. That's called hypocritical and having a double standard. wink

You should avoid these games with me, RJ, as I don't like to pwn you with these games. It's painful to watch. smile

lol!

Let's start down the list, and not in chronological order:

You said that Anakin started to turn to the dark side, in Episode 3. I corrected and said that it was technically episode 2 when he killed the Sand people, and then I added that you could go further and say it was in episode 1 when he was taken from his mother.

When we were discussing whether or not a lightsaber could damage or cut through adamantium, you didn't know what droidekas were, and what neimoidians were.

You had no idea what I was referring to when I said that Mace said that the "chosen one" is supposed to bring balance to the force and I had to remind you of the scene where Yoda and Mace were talking about that. You can call that a small petty thing, but that's a pretty dang important plot point for the entire PT.

Aaaannd I can't think of any others, at the moment. However, there were dozens of things, just like that. I can't be expected to remember every last IM, post, text message, or telephone conversation just to help you remember sh*t.

Sorry, mate, but that's how I roll. That's not the first time I've skipped over most of the contents in a post and went straight to posting a reply, nor will it be the last time. It WILL happen again, and on multiple occasions.

But, can you blame me for skipping most of that post when every other post you made on it was "Akasha burns them from the sky" or something like it?

I love it. The only time you think you've got me being wrong, it's a case of me skipping over your post rather than reading it because you are and were a broken record. Sue me. smile

I admit, I incorrectly referenced that person's gender, but only because I didn't even read that far into your post.

How many times are you going to repeat that despite me admitting I was wrong many times since the last time you said that to me?

I'll give you a hint, it was about 8 months ago when you said that to me, last time. no expression

He did shoot him. He shot both of them. Riddick was not hit full force by the energy blast, he was hit by the concussive wave. That's what I meant, I explained it to you thoroughly. Guess you forgot that, didncha?

You did not explain that to me, thoroughly. You said he was hit with a shot, wasn't damaged by it, and tried to pass it off as a durability feat. I called your B.S., on the phone.

I remember it like it was yesterday: I was driving home from school, in the evening, far left lane, on I-40. As soon as I called your B.S., you immediately tried to play it off and said that it's still a durability feat because the concussive blast launched Riddick many yards.

You are doing 2 things right now: You forgot completely that I called out your B.S.

You remember this but are lying to try and save face.

Oh well, doesn't matter: no amount of backtracking will change the fact that I have evidence of your line of reasoning, which changed after our phone conversation. heh heh heh heh You can pretend not to remember that convo, all you want: I have teh evidences! WEEEE!

I'm really bad with names. You know this. I'm, literally, a retard with names. If you would have said "that kid padawan that kicked some clone trooper *ss" I would have known who you were talking about, immediately. How dare you use me retardeness against me in a debate. HOW DARE YOU! laughing

Well, only if I wasn't paying attention to the post what the Akaksha versus Khayman really matter. It wasn't a case of me forgetting something from the books: it was a case of me ignoring your post.

Okay, you win. I'll concede the points.

You win the Riddick shot fired thing.

Carlisle believes vamps are damned.

I was paying attention to your post but I remembered characters from the book incorrectly and called him a she.

I know it's just threads, but it is soooooo hard to even joke about these things. I absolutely do not want to concede that Riddick being shot, though, as I was rather enjoyed pwning you on that point...but, for the sake of not have an AC type debate, I'll drop it. sad

You don't have to "concede" anything. One of the things I like about you is that you aren't an automaton, you form an opinion, and, until proven otherwise, you stick to it.

Your arrogance interferes with your clear thinking here. It's like there's a small part of you that needs to show everyone how smart you are. Get rid of it, it's ****ing annoying.

But I don't need to do that and I don't feel a need to do that. The only thing I was trying to do is get you to finally admit that you're blinded by your twi-hate.

Rogue Jedi and Dadudemon:

Quit your silly back and forth arguing about who did what when and get back on topic! Christ on his cross! Is it so hard to take such discussions to PM Land?

Any more bickering like this will be met with a warning.

Hate to post off-topic after Imp's recent request, but I feel I need to specify that I don't own the Twilight films and that RJ is a sissy-boy for wanting them.

*points and laughs* Sissy-boy.

The movies aren't that bad if you can ignore Edward's emo behavior and the whole sparkly thing.

See, DDM? No Twihate.

Nah, the first one is bad, dude. It's got an okay story and it does well to stay true to the book (cept it jumbles up the chronology of some of the scenes and has to cut out a lot to fit into the film). It even had gratutious amounts of direct book to movie quotes, which was cool.

The second one wasn't that bad, at all. If I had never heard of the Twilight books or movies, and watched the second one, I would think it wasn't that bad minus a few minor complaints. I'd probably give it a 7 out of 10. However, I am aware of the twi-hate and am a contributor, myself, so I am probably more critical than I should be..

Back to the thread,

Riddick killed about 23 men (and that's reaching as lots of those knife wounds were very superficial) and knocked out maybe 10 others.

How long was that scene? I seems like it lasted about 2 minutes.

In a bladed fight, I've got to give it to Eli, hands down. Eli is more of a martial artist and he uses others on thrusts/power against them. He also seems quicker than Riddick. I'd see Riddick cut to pieces, very quickly, in a blade fight.

H2H, HA! No contest.

There was one fight scene in 'The Book of Eli' that suffered from being too respectful of real life. The scene I'm referring to, is the one where he is surrounded and there are what, 10 guys? He decapitates at least 3 of them but it's so quick that we can't really appreciate it. I had to slow-mo it just to notice heads were being cut off.
