It has similar sequences. None where he's running on the roof, though...just web-slinging and reflection stuff.

So all I have to do is find another where someone runs very fast through some stuff in a FPS view, and then we can say it's original.

Yeah it's nothing personal daduman. It was just an observation.

Andrew was very cool at comicon.

exactly, just as long as its loyal to the comicbook-something the first three films were not,is the important thing.Like I said, they gave him the shooters,Gwen is in it like she should have been,so far at the moment I like what I am seeing except for the black lens. Now that sucks.Reminds me of that live action tv show.

There are several edits, though. It looks like a "mish-mash" and not a straight sequence.

I think it's okay to take inspiration from something for something. I wasn't bothered by it.

More to the point, I just find it hard to believe Sony is rehashing an Origins story rather than go forward with the further adventures of Spidey.

Honestly, I was pretty bored with Spiderman movies after the first film, when they put that big, goofy, metallic mask over Willem Dafoe's face. That was a crime against film-lovers. However, Alfred Molina was good in the second film. I never bothered to see the third. I got the short version. It looked effing horrible.

Andrew may have been cool at comic-con but he just doesn't look the part (Parker not Spiderman). He just dosen't look like a nerd. At all.

Hm.. I'm not impressed really. Looks like a bunch of CGI bullshit. I don't like Denis Leary very much, however I do like Emma Stone. She's really cool. But I'll still probably pass. And who is the villain? Is that Lizard I'm assuming? That could be cool, but there's only one problem: it's not Willem Dafoe. erm

I also don't like the new costume as much. I prefer Raimi's...

Why does it have these weird stripes on it?

Do you mean Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone or Andrew Garfield and Toby McGuire?

It's about a kid with super spider powers, I don't think it's meant to be taken seriously.

that looks awful. it's really just the head/face, but that's kinda the most important part.

That link leads to a picture taken at the previews apparently. If thats true, that concept art is just the first stage of the Lizards mutation.

I thought the trailer looked amazing, but I also don't like the face on the Lizard. I miss the snout.

The costume really needs the webbing detail to be heightened with black outlines.

The red against the blue is too garish without it.

I posted this one earlier for comparison, but it disappeared, so I'll attach it. It looks much better in my opinion, because of the webbing without the stupid lines all over the place. Also the eyes look a lot better...

Idk leech. Toby did a good job, however I don't believe he was right for the role, and this new guy looks like a pop singer for young 13 year old girl. I don't think bring it back will do much good but I wouldn't mind seeing it too compare.
