Very close call imo, but a slight advantage to Riddick. How crazy as it may sounds I think Riddick is better at engagering various types of opponents then Priest which for me seemed extremely focused on killing vampires and I'm not sure how well he will adapt to a person like Riddick, but just my thoughts. Been some time since I saw the Priest movie though.
You can't compare Riddick's fight against Lord Marshall's to Priest vs Black Hat.
Priest nearly died, and never got a hit in. Riddick not only threw a blade fast enough to take Lord Marshall by surprise, he didn't get totally dominated in a fight with a guy with super strength and speed much higher than his...unlike Priest. Even with Vaako's interference, Riddick had high enough perception and reflexes to catch Lord Marshall as he was catching up to his "soul".
I just realized that Black Hat and Vaako were the same person.
Yeah. Same way Lord Marshall was compared to Riddick. As he casually knocked him a good distance away and dominated most of the fight until Jack interfered and Vaako turned on him.
The point I was making was, in similar fights against opponents who were their betters in strength and speed, Riddick did better. Especially when he almost casually pointed out and waited on the Lord Marshall to catch up to his soul, despite being pushed around like a child earlier.
Are you seriously telling me you're not familiar with one of the most iconic scenes in film history?

Not to mention the fact that I was pretty specific about the light levels being neither too low to stop Priest from having decent sight or too high to adversely effect Riddick should be remove his goggles.

I was a child when I saw that film. I don't recall much of it.
SO it's a sealed room. Riddick can throw spanners. Wrenches any tool into those lights. Did you ever play Butcher's Bay?
Riddick has mad throwing accuracy. Thanks for the response and I'm on Team Riddick now.
The fluorescent lamp became common in the late 1930's Raiders is based in 36. Patented in 31. In 34 the lamps ranged 2 feet long and created a yellowish-green light.
In 35 a meeting was held with Naval officers showcasing the new lamps, 2 feet long and producing a brilliant green light.
In 36 a a dinner was held for important officials in Washington DC by the soon to be famous GE company celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the US Patent Office....booooo! But it would be 3 years before fluorescent lighting would become common place.
Those lights would be extremely vulnerable. And innthe picture above each light looks like 1 per 100 meters. Take out 4 or five and Riddick is blanketed in darkness. Any more and it's just fun. Riddick showed he could handle a team of trained men holding guns on him until he created darkness in the surrounding area. Priest handled a group of men in a bar surrounding him as well.
This is a tough fight. But if Riddick acts in character he'll start busting ancient 2 feet light bulbs out. And own his environment quickly.
How far apart the combatants are at the beginning of the battle is something people miss in OPs, it's important.
