Liquid nitrogen boils at -196 celsius and freezes at -210 celsius. I don't think any place on earth is that cold. Putting the T1000 in Antartica is not a sure shot way to freeze him. Besides, what is Logan gonna do, run all the way to Antartica? It's not like he'll have time to book a flight while the T1000 is busy pounding him.
The point here is, yes there are ways to kill/knock out the T1000, but it's far easier for the T1000 to kill/knock out Wolverine.
It's far easier for the T1000 to grab a gun and fire a shot at logan's head to knock him out rather than Logan finding liquid nitrogen and freezing the T1000.
It's also easier for the T1000 to drown Wolverine in a pool rather than Logan getting the T1000 into a melting vat. Swimming pools are easier to find after all.
Getting the T1000 into a melting pot has about as much chance of succeeding as the T1000 getting Wolverine into a car compacter (or whatever those things are called that crush cars).
Point is, the T1000 has more options and easier solutions to taking out Wolverine than the other way around. Especially since Wolverine is not really known for his tactics and relies usually on brute force.

Wolverine will be TERMINATED.
T-1000 not just can regenerate but also packs significant brute force; able to break through walls and handle other Terminators in H2H combat.
Furthermore, it is nearly impossible to punch or slice through T-1000 and get away with it; T-1000 regenerates right at the spot and turns the tide.
All of this can be clearly seen in T2.
It's almost as if the T-1000 was built to withstand the very thing Wolverine is deadliest at. You need energy to kill it, and that's not in W's powerset.
On the other hand, (comics) Wolverine has been stabbed and sliced, as well as shot, scorched, etc -- hasn't he survived attacks which would've terminated the T?

Well if it was comic Wolverine then yes, they could probably battle till a standstill (although I still believe Wolverine will tire first before the T1000).
Movie Wolverine wasn't that great though. He was getting his ass handed to him by mutants with far lesser prowess than the T1000. Movie Wolverine will get knocked out, then the T1000 just ties him up spread eagled and that's that.
Wolverine wins via first KO. Slice off the head and slice the torso in half/bits. Really that simple.
6 shots from a shotgun shut the T-1000 down (while it 'healed'😉 for 11 seconds in the first scene where the Terminators meet. 11 seconds is one second more than is needed for a TKO.

So what? Wolverine was knocked out with just ONE gun shot to the head, and he was out longer than the T1000 was. The T1000 also generally carries with him firearms or at least a sidearm. When has movie Wolverine ever handled a shotgun, or any firearm for that matter after getting his adamantium?
Admit it, you logan fanboys are grasping at straws here. The T1000 is just a better version than Logan.
